(DENVER, CO) — A new magazine has debuted in Colorado, bringing an adult audience a combination of adult entertainment and main stream articles. Similar to the national, well known adult publications, Perfect Gentleman brings the format to a local audience with local advertising.
“There really isn’t a local magazine in Colorado that contains a mix of adult and main stream content, addresses the 30 to 60 year old age group, and provides local and national advertising opportunities”?, said Jim Brown, publisher and chief editor of Perfect Gentleman. “There is clearly a market for this type of publication.”
With top rated programs like Showtimes’ Family Business, which follows the personal and business life of Adam Glasser, also known as Seymore Butts, the award winning documentary, Porn Star: The Legend of Ron Jeremy, and the popularity of adult film stars like Jenna Jameson, the adult industry edges closer to main stream entertainment.
“Men and women over the age of thirty five are just as interested in sex as they were in their twenties.” Mr. Brown continued, “The increased responsibilities that come with age, like owning a home, raising a family and navigating a career, don’t diminish their interests, it simply gives them new priorities.”
In the last few years there has been a dramatic increase in couples frequenting the traditional male dominated gentlemen clubs, and adult stores are aggressively focusing on females and couples. This targeted age group typically has more disposable income and takes a more mature approach to adult oriented entertainment.
Perfect Gentleman is a monthly publication available in Colorado adult stores and clubs, as well as by subscription. Expansion of the publication to cities across the United States is slated for 2005.
