Hi,
I just wanted to let you know about our new book: The Maxi Mounds Guide to the World of Erotic Dance by Maxi Mounds as told to Kama.
The book will be available on-line from Amazon.com and BN.com as of July 1st and will be officially launched on Sept 2nd in bookstores throughout Canada and the US.
Maxi is one of North America’s best known Exotic Dancers and the current holder of the Sexual Book of World Records title as the World’s Largest Breasted Exotic Dancer. She has been the winner of a number of Exotic Dance Contests, done many magazine layouts in Score, Gent and Bust Out among many others as well as been a regular Boob Cruise participant and traveled the length and breadth of the North American Exotic Dance Club circuit.
Her book covers the whole world of exotic dance including: ? the Secret History of Exotic Dancing from Neolithic Times to the Present ? an a-Z Guide to the Current World of Striptease ? Maxi’s own Journal of the Life of a Working Exotic Dancer ? the Inside Story of well known events like the Exotic Dancers Convention, the “Boob Cruise”, photo shoots for men’s magazines, film shoots for porno movies etc. ? her adventures with Breast Enhancement surgery ? Encounters with stalkers, criminals, celebrities and everyday customers that neither romanticizes nor demonizes the Exotic Dance scene.
Maxi’s book is an honest account of the whole Exotic Dance scene, good and bad, written by an insider who loves being an Exotic Dancer and isn’t ashamed of her art, her life or her world. She has a strong fan base throughout the Us and Canada as well as a strong following in a number of international locales including Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Japan, Korea, Sweden, Mexico, Brazil and Spain. The book however has universal appeal and Maxi is a great spokesperson for it. The book will be released in North America on July 1, 2004. A second practical book on exotic dancing the Maxi Mounds Guide to Exotic Dancing for Fun and Pleasure is being worked on now and will be out for the Summer of 2005.
Maxi will be touring extensively to promote the book this fall.
