(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Sweden-based FX Mobile, which has received wide media attention throughout Scandinavia, will make its highly anticipated debut in the United States during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). They will be showcasing their content offerings, as well as the technology behind it, in Kentia Hall, Booth 6510 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, May 12 – 14.

FX Mobile is planning to use traditional retail outlets to distribute its unique content cards. Consumers can purchase a wide range of “full-on and full of fun” mobile content offerings from the most technologically advanced ringtones and wallpapers to celebrity greetings, games, trivia, and much more. They can provide a cell phone user not only a recording artist’s greeting, but also, their latest hit single as a ring tone along with their latest commercials, music videos, movie trailers, and trivia games. Since adult content is prohibited by all U.S. operators so far, FX Mobile is the first to be able to open the market with their new technology.

“They’re coming here to close a lot of deals with major mainstream corporations, from movie studios to recording artists,” says Jason Sechrest, FX Mobile’s Director of Public Relations for North America, “And they’ve decided that they want to involve the adult community in their product as well. They know there’s a huge market for having well-known adult stars available for download on people’s cell phones and they want to take advantage of that by offering the whole nine yards — the star’s images, new movie trailers, personal greetings from them, everything they’re offering for the mainstream. It’s a great way for any company to promote their contract stars.”

“The mobile phone began with the singular function of communication, but as we see all around us everyday, this is changing,” says Toby Jorgensen, President of FX Mobile’s parent company, Federation X. “No longer are cell phones used only for calling and text messaging. Corporations big and small, from movie studios and recording acts to celebrities, are using them as marketing and content distribution vehicles, offering a wide range of content and experiences. And FX Mobile is the ultimate marketing device for businesses around the world for the emerging mobile lifestyle.”

In addition to showcasing its content and technology, FX Mobile will have celebrities signing autographs and taking pictures at their booth. Scheduled appearances to date are Victoria Silvstedt, Guess Supermodel; Kristi Frank, from ” the Apprentice” & FHM; Heidi Strobel, “Survivor Amazon” & Playboy; and more.

FX Mobile will be one of the first of its kind to go retail with its product, providing a new way to distribute, market and consume mobile content. It is simplified for the consumer by utilizing traditional market strategies and delivering products through retail outlets. Their mobile content will be marketed and sold by retail outlets in its own custom displays and delivered directly to the consumer’s mobile phone or device. The retail cards can be also adjusted to fit several international display systems. With its easy-to-use mobile content cards categorized by color scheme, the customer can easily identify the content package they want by product, category and price group. The specific content is branded on the front of the card with additional text explaining the type of content. Inside the card package are easy to follow step-by-step instructions on how to use the card and retrieve the mobile content. It’s that simple: Enter the code – send to the number displayed on the card – and content want will be delivered directly to the phone.

While at the E3 convention, Jorgensen and Executive Vice President of North America, Diane Kane will be seeking both distribution and content providers for the product’s scheduled launch in August 2004 and will be offering a special to those who are first to jump on board.
