(ATLANTA, GA) — The Gold Club racketeering trial in Atlanta ended over a year ago, but locals and those still interested in the inside dirt of the Gold Club have Jacklyn “Diva” Bush to thank for her new tell-all book.
The self described “Michael Jordan” of stripping, Bush was one of the central characters in the infamous Gold Club trial which eventually put club owner Steven Kaplan in prison for 16 months after working out a plea with prosecutors.
The book details much of “Diva’s” life from her childhood upbringing to her stripping career, and naming names along the way. Names thrown around in the book include, Andrew Jones, Jerry Springer, Robin Leach, and Michael Jordan himself. Many have been interested in the fact that Bush paints Kaplan in a different light throughout much of the book. She refers to him as a father figure, and was not aware of much of the debauchery going on at the club. Bush promises the truth comes out about a lot of people in the book, but she didn’t include any tales that she didn’t participate in or witness personally.
