(MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA) — The world’s most famous porn star will be at the Club X Sexpo at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre (Thurs Nov 21 – Sunday Nov 24). Ron Jeremy will be meeting his Australian fans as he promotes the internationally acclaimed documentary about his life, “Porn Star”.
“Ron Jeremy has been in more Australian bedrooms than many people might be prepared to admit,” notes Sexpo organizer, David Ross.
“Through his countless videos, he has become an icon and a cult figure who has an enormous following around the world. I’m sure many Australians will be keen to meet him in the flesh.”

Scott Gill’s “Porn Star – the Legend of Ron Jeremy” has won rave reviews around the world, as it profiles a man who has appeared in 1,600 films and had more beautiful women than James Bond. ‘Porn Star’ is a funny, warm and realistic look at an ordinary man living an extraordinary life.
Known as ‘the Hedgehog’, Jeremy is short, fat and hairy – and yet he is the biggest porn star in the world. For many his appeal is the fact that he is very average looking. He admits that he is living proof that “anyone can get laid”.
He was ‘discovered’ after his girlfriend of the time submitted his nude picture to Playgirl Magazine, showing his 9 3/4 inch penis at full attention. From struggling in minor plays during the late 70s, Jeremy was soon making big money in porn.
Some of his female co-stars consider him the best, with an ability to perform on cue – while others refuse to work with him. Sometimes his co-star will demand that he be shaved prior to a scene.
Jeremy craves mainstream acting success, while continuing to work in the industry that has made him an icon.

Jeremy admits to having had three true loves in his life, and despite now approaching 50 still hopes to settle down and have kids.
The documentary is available on VHS and DVD and will be released on Monday November 4 through JB Hi Fi, Leading Edge, HMV, Sanity, Blockbuster, Civic Video, Family Videoland, Video Ezy, Atlantic, Virgin, and Dick Smith.

Three-Quarters of a Million Visit Sexpo – a record crowd of 75,000 is expected at the Club X Sexpo, being staged at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Clarendon Street, Southbank from Thursday November 21 to Sunday November 24.
During the course of the event, the number of people to have visited Sexpo around Australia – since its debut in 1996 – will surpass three-quarters-of-a-million people.
Word’s Biggest Porn Star At Sexpo – the world’s most famous porn star, Ron Jeremy, will be meeting his Australian fans at Melbourne Sexpo.
The subject of an internationally acclaimed film about his life, Jeremy will be joined by some of the world’s leading female adult film stars, including Serenity and Jacklyn Lick.
The Female Factor – Sexpo originally began as a comfortable environment for women to purchase sex toys and erotica and has since established itself as Australia’s busiest public exhibition, visiting an average four major cities a year.

Child Minding – While Sexpo is only open to people aged over 18, a professional child minding service is available while parents go inside. The service is available until 7pm at a cost of $5 per hour, per child – except on Ladies’ Day when the child-care will be free. Parents are also advised that it is a legal requirement that babies can not be taken into the exhibition.
