(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Following a successful event at Déjà Vu in North Hollywood to raise money for the September 11 Disaster Relief Fund, United Adult Community co-organizers Serenity and Christi Lake delivered all the proceeds from the benefit to the Red Cross.
The event, held Tuesday, October 16, 2001, featured some of the top talent in the adult entertainment industry. The performers were Kim Chambers, Jewel De’Nyle, Midori, Chloe, Alicia Rio, Brooke Hunter, Nikki Dial, Jessica Drake, Amber Lynn, Bionca Jordan, and Felecia. Other adult film stars like Janine and Jacklyn Lick attended to meet the fans and pose for Polaroids. Companies large and small gave donations for the event showing a unified front in the effort to raise funds.
In a joint statement Serenity and Christi stated that “We are very happy with the results of the benefit. The Adult Community came together, gave their time, gave product and as a result we raised $8200 for the September 11 Disaster Relief Fund. We are very proud and thankful to be involved with individuals – performers, company owners and, most of all, the fans – who band together at a time when unity is needed most.”
