(PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL) — Labor Day always reaches a fever pitch on Florida’s sun-drenched beaches, but the action got even wilder than usual when Wicked Pictures sponsored the holiday festivities at Club La Vela, the nation’s largest nightclub recently.
This world-famous nightspot had previously been rocked by Wicked in March 2001, when Wicked Girls Serenity, Devinn Lane, and Alexa partied with thousands of college students for six surf and sex-drenched days. Wicked Does Spring Break was a marathon of hedonism that gave both fans and starlets alike the chance to shake – and often bare – their assets in a seemingly endless series of wet t-shirt contests and all-night VIP parties. Wicked has continued to sponsor Club La Vela events throughout the summer, including a highly successful 4th of July celebration that was attended by thousands.
While the girls’ busy schedules didn’t allow them to return for Labor Day, Wicked’s sponsorship saw hundreds of lucky fans going home with Wicked t-shirts and other promotional items. Large Wicked signs encircling the massive club’s pool and back patio area have also been left up for the year.
Closer to home, the enterprising video company has announced that it will also continue to sponsor the Pikes (Pi Kappa Alpha), a respected fraternity at California State University Northridge. In addition to creating one-of-a-kind promotional items for the fraternity, Wicked has also sponsored signings by their contract girls at Pikes events.
In another example of innovative marketing outreach, Wicked is also continuing its sponsorship of surfer Jim Flores, currently competing in events held by the National Scholastic Surfing Association and the 2000-2001 South Coast Surfing Series. Flores has been active in distributing Wicked promotional items at professional surfing events since late 1999.
Wicked’s involvement in these sponsorships has attracted attention from news sources as disparate as ABC News, the E! Channel, the News Herald of Panama City, and France’s Hot Video magazine.
One thing is certain, when Wicked throws a party, the media are never far behind!
