(LAS VEGAS, NV) — The Sin City Chamber of Commerce (SCCC) is pleased to announce that the first ever Sin City Sky Dive for the Corps of Compassion will take place on Friday, May 18, 2007 from 1:00 Pm to 6:00PM. This truly unique and exciting networking experience for Sin City Chamber Members Only will be hosted by Chamber Member, SkyDiveLasVegas.com at the Boulder City Airport in Boulder City, NV.
Leading the Sky Dive will be Sin City Chamber of Commerce Ceo, Wayne Bridge and Executive Vice President, Michael Russell. Our generous Sin City Sky Dive for the Corp of Compassion event sponsors VCX Ltd. Inc., On-Site Dental, Desert Logo and Southern Wine & Spirits have enabled the SCCC to offer a discounted rate of $125.00 (Normally $199.00) for the first 20 Sky Divers.
The Sky Diving, all tandem jumps, will begin at 1:00 Pm followed by a cocktail reception that will begin at 3:30 Pm in the LasVegasSkyDive.Com hangar with a victorious celebration of Pyramid and Flat Tire Beer thanks to event sponsor Mike Sussen and Southern Wine & Spirits. SkyDiveLasVegas.com has generously agreed to be the food sponsor during the Cocktail Party.
Each Skydiver will be asked to solicit “Dive Sponsors” for their jump which will be given directly to our friends at the Corps of Compassion. If each Sin City Skydiver gets 10 sponsors at $25.00 or more a piece, we will be able to raise significant funds for a worthy cause.

It was not until SkyDiveLasVegas.com joined the Chamber for the marketing power of our high traffic website did we have the right company and facility” commented Michael Russell, Executive Vice President/Partner of the Sin City Chamber of Commerce. “I’ve jumped once before for a friends bachelor party and recall every moment of what could only be described as a cosmic religious experience that not only thrills, changes your perspective in a multitude of ways. We are really thrilled to have our members jump with Wayne Bridge and I to support our friends at the Corps of Compassion.”
To complement the “Dive Sponsors” the Sin City Chamber of Commerce is pleased to also announce the Sky Dive Membership Drive that will end the day of the Sin City Sky Dive for the Corps of Compassion on May 18, 2007. The Sin City Chamber of Commerce will be donating our regular $50.00 Administration Fee normally collected from new members directly to the Corps of Compassion. Participating companies will be asked to write a $50.00 Check along with their payment of dues to the SCCC. The $50.00 will be tax deductible and will be delivered directly to the Corps of Compassion, a local Non-Profit and Proud Member of the Sin City Chamber of Commerce.

Corps of Compassion is a non- profit organization dedicated to eliminate childhood hunger in Clark County school district. We currently feed 720 children in 14 local elementary schools and we couldn’t do this without the support of the Las Vegas community. We feel privileged to be a part of this Chamber and grateful for another possibility given to Corps of Compassion to raise money to feed at risk-homeless kids. Members wishing to watch the spectacle of 20 to 50 brave souls sky diving for a very good cause in the Corp of Compassion may purchase a ticket for $15.00 or two for $25.00. Ticket includes entry into the cocktail reception which is just 200 to 300 feet from the landing zone. This will be a Members only event. Special thanks to David Sutton, President, Vcx Ltd., Inc.
