Five years after making its European debut in Berlin, XBIZ Retreat is moving to Amsterdam, where the premier all-inclusive B2B event for the pleasure market will take place Sept. 10-13.

Satisfyer returns as the Presenting Sponsor of XBIZ Retreat, which once again serves up its signature mix of curated meetings and exclusive networking socials, along with a VIP experience that includes gourmet group dinners.

The all-new Amsterdam edition is set to offer attendees a completely refreshed event experience, with the luxurious Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre serving as the hub of activities. Offering vistas overlooking the city and the river IJ, the hotel is within walking distance of Amsterdam’s historical center, its central station and countless tourist attractions. Schiphol Airport is only 20 minutes from the hotel.

XBIZ Retreat attendees also get access to the XBIZ Europa Awards, which will return Sept. 12 as the culminating event of XBIZ’s fall European events series.

“We are thrilled to bring the unparalleled XBIZ Retreat experience to Amsterdam, a city known for its vibrant energy and progressive culture,” XBIZ Associate Publisher Sara Ramirez said. “Our upcoming fall edition will provide a unique opportunity for vendors and buyers to connect, learn and grow their businesses in an all-new luxurious setting. We can’t wait to create many wonderful memories in this new chapter of XBIZ Retreat.”

Held annually, the European edition of XBIZ Retreat hosts an expansive list of participants from all over the globe, including top buyers from South America, Asia, the Middle East and beyond. A wide range of pleasure brands from around the world regularly take part in XBIZ Retreat, and have expressed their fondness for the event.

“I had the chance to meet new clients and make new friends in a very intimate and constructive way, which will certainly support the growth of the Orgie brand around the world,” Orgie Company Export Manager Massimo Artioli said about last year’s XBIZ Retreat in Berlin.

Florian Wittich, senior sales and business development manager for Pipedream Products, also praised XBIZ Retreat Berlin for offering fertile ground for doing business.

“I personally really enjoyed the private and focused meetings,” he said. “One can have quiet, detailed talks — and the evening events were great and helped to build a good network.”

ElectraStim Marketing Manager Claire Blakeborough said, “We made some really interesting new contacts and solidified pre-existing relationships. Mainly it was really nice to get back out in Europe with our industry pals after so long apart!”
