Big Ass Rubdown is a Digital Sin production directed by Eddie Powell and stars Mercedes Carrera and James Deen, Katrina Jade and Ramon Nomar, Mandy Muse and Steve Holmes, and Kate England and Lucas Frost.
Big Ass Rubdown is an all-sex film with four scenes that reveal what happens when a sexually eager female client takes on a male masseuse who knows how to satisfy her carnal desires. The motif for each scene is the masseuse’s table with everything from sheets to towels to curtains immersed in white. There’s body oil handy (in a white pitcher no less) to pour on her booty for just the right glow.
Each girl presents a different porn image from very slutty (Katrina Jade) to the cutie next door (Kate England) and shades in-between with the smokin’ hot Mercedes Carrera and the lovable Mandy Muse.
What draws the viewer in is Eddie Powell because the all-sex he shoots has subtle cinematic overtones with shades of romance thrown in. Simply put, it’s female friendly gonzo. The facials are subdued; there is no anal (despite the title) and plenty of pleasure. Lots of kissing highlights each scene while rough pounding is minimized. Maybe the masseuse and his client are really passionate about each other!
In other words, guys, this is a movie you can enjoy with your significant other thanks to Eddie’s brilliant cinematography and superb directing. He captures sex at its finest moments.
First, a quick comment on each scene. As expected the typical porn formula is in place -female to male oral and the usual positions – but with a couple of exceptions. The men don’t mind doing their own oral work and these segments are extended. For good measure, the guys are framed as equals on-screen. We see as much of them as we do the hotties. Best of all, there is chemistry between the actors in each episode.
In the initial scene, Mercedes Carrera gets top dollar for bouncing and shaking her butt. When she is on her tummy shaking away with her mouth at work on James Deen, it’s way cool. Next, Katrina Jade is a piercing lover’s dream. Good shots of her clit hood barbells and Ramon Nomar’s light spanking to keep her aroused will appeal to fetish lovers. The first part of the scene is all about Katrina’s pleasure; she doesn’t get to work orally until several minutes into it. Kneeling doggie with Ramon pinning Katrina’s arms behind her is a highlight.
Scene three brings in Mandy Muse who is the best deep throater in the DVD. Near the end of her scene, notice the most creative reverse cowgirl you’ve seen in a while. International star Steve Holmes is authoritative in working Mandy to do his bidding, much to her delight. By the way, Mandy’s booty is her marketability and probably accounts for why she is on the box cover.

Finally, in scene four, Kate England begins with modesty because she embodies that “girl next door” theme. That’s only the beginning, of course, because later she performs an enticing cowgirl before being rolled over for a pile driving doggie. This blonde sweetie heats up nicely at the end.
Eddie Powell’s camera work enlivens his gonzo shoots and Big Ass Rubdown does not disappoint. He likes to capture close-ups of little noticed things like a girl’s hand squeezing the sheets when she’s in ecstasy, her facial expressions that signal satisfaction, and her partner’s hands as they caress her body. Eddie’s lens has a floating, gliding feeling that is Hollywood quality. What’s more, continual motion keeps the viewer engaged. No one camera angle lasts for more than a brief few seconds and the joyous female is always the center of attention.
Oh, one more note. Eddie’s gonzo tends to have a relaxing, lolling appeal. In every scene, the music is a mixture of soft and dreamy with a haunting flavor that fits the hard sex fantasy perfectly.
Surely all-sex can be repetitive, but Eddie Powell doctors each scene just enough to convince the viewer that something new awaits just around the corner.
