Chaturbate has once again signed on as the presenting sponsor for Sex Expo New York 2018 and will be featuring its camming platform at the two-day event, to be held the weekend of September 22-23 at the Brooklyn Expo Center.
Sex Expo New York 2018 will feature workshops with a variety of educators and sexual wellness experts as well as showcases from top pleasure product manufacturers. Shirley Lara, chief of operations for Chaturbate, said that as presenting sponsor, the company is honored to be a part of Sex Expo’s sexual wellness mission.
“Chaturbate’s goal is to empower everyone to embrace and enhance their sexuality, while creating a viable business model in the adult entertainment industry,” Lara said. “What we offer fits very well with the groundbreaking work Sex Expo has done in making sexual wellness acceptable to a much wider audience than ever before. A large segment of our broadcasters is made up of single parents, college students and adventurous couples, who explore their own sexual horizons through camming and the supportive community that Chaturbate has built.”
Lara added, “This unique convention brings together so many sexual freedom advocates, educators and exhibitors of new pleasure products and enhancers, who continue to advance the dialog – allowing sex and sexuality to be accepted as central to a passionate, fulfilling self-image and overall healthy life.”
Formerly the Sexual Health Expo (SHE), Sex Expo is a bicoastal event that has been held in New York City and Los Angeles.
Chaturbate, founded in 2011, offers an affiliate program, ad traffic sales and a wide assortment of tools for models and broadcasters. Sex Expo New York attendees, Lara said, are encouraged to visit Chaturbate’s booth and meet some of its models, who would be happy to answer any questions they have about live camming.
“Chaturbate has developed a very passionate sense of community that is not seen on most cam sites,” Lara said. “when we have a booth at an event like Sex Expo 2018, that sense of community broadens exponentially, as everyone that meets our broadcasters walks away with a greater understanding of the benefits camming can bring to the average person – which goes far beyond earning a nice income. The Brooklyn Expo Center is located at 72 Noble St. In Greenpoint, Brooklyn and is within walking distance of the MTA’s Greenpoint Ave. subway station, which is served by the G Train.
