Myles’ Weekend Adventures: Book Signing, Brett Rossi

Bonjour mon amis! Comment ca va? Myles Shaffer here. This article will be about a trip to a book store for an interesting book signing and one feature entertainer. Hopefully, the readers will now be curious enough to read on and learn the details. So, why not get started right now?

Joanna Angel’s Book Signing

Wednesday evening, February 14, I drove to Skylight Books, in Los Angeles, to witness Joanna Angel’s book signing. Yes, among wearing many other hats, Joanna is now the published author of a three-hundred-page fiction novel entitled, “Night Shift (A Choose Your Own Erotic Fantasy).”

Thanks to getting started several minutes late, and more bad, discourteous, drivers than expected, I arrived several minutes late.

When I walked into the book store and took a seat, Joanna was already reading passages from her book; therefore, I can’t write anything about what may have transpired before I arrived.

After reading some juicy pages from her book, Joanna conducted a question and answer session.

Once Joanna had finished the question and answer session, I, and I think everybody else in the store who did not work there, went up front and bought a copy of Joanna’s book. (I had noticed that several people were already holding copies of Joanna’s book during the time that Joanna was speaking.) After purchasing a copy of the book, I got in line to have Joanna sign it as did everybody else.

During the time that Joanna had been reading from her book, I had noticed a very good-looking young woman seated in the row of chairs behind me and a few chairs to my right. As I was headed to the front of the store to buy my copy of Joanna’s book, I stopped to tell the young woman that she looked familiar to me and to ask if we had ever met before. She stated that she was Angela White, and I immediately said, “Of course we have met before. I believe we have met during at least a couple of the past AVNs if not other adult industry events.”

Between then and the time I spent in line to get my copy of Joanna’s book signed, Angela and I chatted quite a bit. (After all the people’s books had been signed, Angela and Joanna graciously posed together while I took a photo of them.)

Since all good things must come to an end, after I took the photo of the ladies, I said my goodnights, went to my car, and started the drive home.

Originally from Australia, Angela is most definitely Australia’s loss and America’s gain! For anybody who might not have guessed for themselves by now, Angela White is an adult film star and director.

After I have had time to read Joanna’s book, I’ll try to remember to tell the readers what I thought of it. I’m certain that it will be some good reading based on the sixteen pages that Joanna read to the crowd.

Brett Rossi

Wednesday, February 15, it was off to the City of Industry Déjà Vu to say hello to adult film star, director, and feature entertainer, Brett Rossi and to observe both of her shows of the evening.

At the start of her first show, Brett wore a red baseball cap. Next, she wore a red midriff top with sleeves so short as to be almost sleeveless. Brett also wore a pair of black thong style bottoms with suspenders. The bottoms had two large yellow buttons on the front. Under her top, Brett wore a red bra that was covered with sequins. Beneath her bottoms, Brett wore a red G-string that was also covered with sequins. A pair of somewhat above knee-length red stocking adorned Brett’s legs. Each of the stockings had three white stripes around its top. Brett’s footwear was a pair of almost knee-length high-heeled black boots with platform soles of moderate height. The boots laced up their fronts.

This show was performed to, “Cowboy,” by Kid Rock, “The Beautiful People,” by Marilyn Manson, and, “Closer,” by Nine Inch Nails.

At the end of the show, Brett auctioned off a goodie bag.

When Brett began her final show of the evening, she was wearing a black and white striped short-sleeved midriff-top. The midriff-top had white lapels and a white back flap such as that on the back of a sailor’s uniform blouse. The flap had a narrow black stripe running down its sides and across the bottom. With the midriff-top, Brett wore a pleated white mini-skirt that was more of a wide belt than a skirt. (It really didn’t cover much of anything.) Beyond those two items of clothing, Brett wore what appeared to be the same bra, G-string, stockings, and boots she had worn during her first show. And, that was okay with me. They worked quite well with both outer costumes.

During this show, Brett performed to, “Trick Pony,” by Charlotte Gainsbourg, “Music,” by Madonna, and, “So Rich, So Pretty,” by Mickey Avalon.

Brett committed some good up close and personal interaction with randomly selected tip rail customers during both of her shows.

Brett is a very good-looking woman with blonde hair and hazel eyes. She is five feet eight inches tall and weighs in at one hundred fifteen pounds. And, her stunning measurements are 34D-24-33.

Having met and spoken with Brett several times to date, I feel quite comfortable in saying that she is very friendly, smart, and very well spoken. Brett additionally has an excellent sense of humor, and she truly enjoys meeting and speaking with her fans.

It is most definitely my recommendation that anybody who might get an opportunity to go out to see Brett perform and to meet her in person should take full advantage of said opportunity! I don’t see how anybody could not enjoy the experience.

The fourth rate City of Industry politicians and/or bureaucrats have struck again! After all of the many years that there has been a gentlemen’s club of various names and ownerships in this location, the hypocrites running the town have recently decided that there is a school too close to the club, so they have forced this Déjà Vu Showgirls to become a bikini bar that still doesn’t serve alcohol. Rats and double rats!!!

Apparently, the city has somehow determined the distance between some school and the club in a straight line through houses and businesses and to hell with the distance you would have to travel on the streets and around corners to get from point A to point B.

How much of a problem could the club cause? It sits well off of Gale Avenue at the back of a small strip mall area. There are at least two, maybe three, establishments in the same little strip mall area that are bars. Why don’t they have to stop serving alcohol? Is a nude young woman more dangerous to underage students than what goes on in the average alcohol serving bar? I don’t think so.

In answer to a question I asked him, one of the managers told me that yes, business has been noticeably down since the club was forced to become a bikini club. I myself noticed that I had no trouble finding a good parking spot. Parking in that area has always been scarce in the past.

Okay folks, that will just about do it for now. Let us all meet back here the next time to see just what I have been up to next. Until then, everybody stay safe, have a great week, and live life as if there were no tomorrow!

Bonsoir et au revoir,

Myles Shaffer
