Dee Dennis, founder of the CatalystCon sexuality conference, announces a wide-ranging list of speakers participating in CatalystCon West in Los Angeles, CA, September 16-18, 2016. Created to inspire exceptional conversations about sexuality, CatalystCon will return to the west coast with over 40 sessions and panel discussions on sexuality-based topics.

CatalystCon West’s schedule will include sessions on sex work, polyamory, sex positive parenting, sex and cancer, and business. A complete list of sessions may be found at catalystcon.com/sessions.

“Attending CatalystCon is like going home to a family who truly understands you. I look forward to connecting with my peers, reconnecting with the colleagues who’ve become my chosen family and learning from all of their collective experiences,” says Lola, who is presenting sessions on polyamory and working in the sex positive field. “Most of all I look forward to regrouping, refocusing, and remembering why I do what I do. It’s so easy to easy to get burnt out in this business, but I always leave CatalystCon inspired and ready to take on new challenges.”

Speakers include sex educators Carol Queen, Reid Mihalko and Monique Darling; academics Ebony Utley and Robert G. LeFavi; activists Mo Beasley and Pele, and sex and aging expert Joan Price. A complete list of speakers may be found at catalystcon.com/speakers.

This will mark the fifth year for CatalystCon in Los Angeles. “it’s been exciting and rewarding to see CatalystCon grow and evolve so much in such a short time,” said Dee Dennis. “I’m thrilled with the lineup for CatalystCon West and look forward to welcoming returning speakers along with adding new voices to the conversation.”

CatalystCon West takes place September 16-18, 2016 at the Westin LAX in Los Angeles, California. Discounted early-bird registration is available until June 30 at catalystcon.com/register.
