Vice is Nice Event

(LOS ANGELES, CA) — The 2015 6th Annual Vice is Nice Event is being held on Saturday, July 25 in Southern California. Hosted by Kelly Holland, Vice is Nice raises money (and awareness) to help animals in dire need of a home and medical services. Some of Southern California’s biggest animal rescues will be on the receiving end of money raised from the event and sponsorships. The event will feature a poker tournament and Monte Carlo night, music, dancing, tarot card readings, vegetarian food, red carpet photos and prize raffles. The event will take place at 10945 Old Santa Susana Pass Road in Chatsworth, California. There is valet parking with limo shuttle service to the event.

All proceeds will go to the following:

Pink Paws is a cat rescue and adoption group located in Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley and Northridge.

Life 4 Paws provides a bridge between people and animals through education, assistance with rescue efforts and resources information.

Rags to Wags is a 501c3, all breed, animal rescue founded in 2012 to help eliminate the killing of animals in Us shelters, primarily focusing on the high kill shelters of Southern California.

Almost Home Animal Rescue is a nonprofit, tax-deductible 501(c)(3) organization founded by Val Israel and Nancy Travis in 2010. AHAR is dedicated to the rescue and care of cats and dogs in need, in Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange, San Bernardino, Kern, and Riverside Counties. It is their goal to find each animal a safe and loving home.

The Animal Rescue Alliance operates as both an adoption agency and a sanctuary for dogs, cats, horses, birds, goats and donkeys. Additionally, Tara has a special projects committee that works to help women and families who are victims of domestic violence in need short-term care for their pets as they transition to safe housing. Through its outreach it also works to support and coordinate programs with other worthwhile rescues in Southern California.
