Myles’ Weekend Adventures: AVN Adult Entertainment Expo 2014 – Bonjour mon amis! Comment ca va? Myles Shaffer here. This column will be about what may very well be the biggest and greatest adult entertainment industry convention/trade show in the world. So good people, please read on to learn about all the beautiful people who were in attendance and all the great times that were had during an extremely fun four days!
Wednesday, January 15
This was the first day of the 2014 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo. (Steve Nelson and I had both driven up to Las Vegas, Nevada, the day before in order to have our press credentials and be ready the moment the doors opened.)
The people I knew or had at least met before that I saw and spoke with on this day were: Anikka Albrite, Julia Ann, James Bartholet, Teal Conrad, Kiki D’Aire, Sophie Dee, Nikki Delano, industry photographer Dominic, Ashley Fires, Allie Haze, Madison Ivy, Jesse Jane, the legendary Ron Jeremy, Eric John, Remy Lacroix, Sunny Lane, Kaylani Lei, Kennedy Leigh, Brandi Love, Claudia Marie, Daejha Milan, Missy Monroe, industry photographer Gordon Mui, my Editor-in-Chief Steve Nelson, Ed Powers, Teagan Presley, Laela Pryce, Roxie Rae, Riley Reid, Jessa Rhodes, Missy Rhodes, Ricky Rich, Selena Rose, Bonnie Rotten, Sarah Shevon, Rikki Six, John Stagliano, Natalia Starr, Jada Stevens, and Alexis Texas.
The people I met for the first time on this day were: Eliza Allure, Summer Brielle, Casey Calvert, Leia Down, Veruca James, Abigail Mac, Mia Malcova, Jasmine Mendez, Penny Pax, and Taylor Raz.
About two and a half hours into the day, I saw a woman that looked like Jade Simone St. Clair standing a short distance from me. However, by the time I finished what I was doing a few minutes later, I turned around and the woman had disappeared. Since I never saw her again, I can’t be absolutely certain whether it was Jade or just somebody with a very strong resemblance to Jade.
Thursday, January 16
The people I knew or had met before that was in attendance on this day were: Britney Amber, Joanna Angel, Aiden Ashley, Raven Bay, Helen Bedd, Lexi Belle, Alex Chance, Dani Daniels, Nikki Daniels, Cameron Dee, Cherie DeVille, Kelly Devine, Nicky Ferrari, Shay Fox, Seth Gamble, Miss Genocide, the original Tommy Gunn, the second Tommy Gunn, Presley Hart, Nina Hartley, Heidi Hollywood, Publicist Erica Icon, Isiah James IV, Tory Lane, Jayden Lee, the legendary Bill Margold, Missy Martinez, Syren De Mer, Holly Michaels, Allison Moore, Rusty Nails, Asphyxia Noir, Porno Dan, Raven Rockette, Veronica Rodriguez, Will Ryder/Jeff Mullen, Angela Sommers, Cindy Starfall, Natasha Starr, Christie Stevens, Misty Stone, Kasey Storm, Jennifer White, Adam Wood, and Prince Yashua.
The people I met for the first time on this day were: Alexis Adams, Nicole Aniston, Addison Avery, Brianna Brooks, Mischa Brooks, Callie Calypso, Cali Carter, Charlyse, Abby Cross, Carter Cruise, Krissie Dee, Ava Devine (I could swear that I have met Ava before, but I do not have her name in any of my records.), Nina Elle, Sophia Fiore, Zoey Foxx, Candi Foxxx, Alexis Grace, Marica Hase, Katerina Kay, Rio Lee, Payton Leigh, Alyssa Lynn, Janet Mason, Miley May, Miss Melrose, Cassandra Nix, Jessica Ryan, Sadie Santana, Jade Steele, Savannah Steele, and Courtney Taylor.
Dinner at the Sicilian Ristorante
After the convention had ended for the day, I made my way to the Sicilian Ristorante where I joined Anita Cannibal, Tom Manning, the legendary Bill Margold, Rich Moreland, my Editor-in-Chief Steve Nelson, Anthony Tecchio, Matthew Worley, and some woman I didn’t know, and don’t think I want to know, for dinner.

Friday, January 17

During the afternoon, I came across Brandy Aniston and Ash Hollywood conducting their Vivid Radio show.
Legends of Erotica
Friday evening, it was off to Showgirls Video for the Legends of Erotica Hall of Fame inductions.
Actor and director Carter Stevens, did a great job of helping Bill Margold host the event as well as being inducted on this night.
Also on the stage were: Christian Mann, Skye Blue, Summer Cummings, Caroline Pierce, Mike Horner, and Minka.
Raymond Pistol inducted Caroline Pierce. Carter Stevens was inducted by Chicago Joe. Mike Horner was inducted by the son of his old friend Mike. Skye Blue and Summer Cummings inducted each other. And Christian Mann was inducted by Joey Silvera and John Stagliano.
Saturday, January 18
During this day, the people I saw whom I knew or had at least met before were: Eva Angelina, Jessica Bangkok, Gaia, Rick Garcia, Dani Jensen, Devon Lee, Marcus London, Chanel Preston, Kelly Shibari, Alexandra Silk, Siri, Evan Stone, Veronica Vaughn, Juelz Ventura, Kevin Wang, and Luc Wylder.
The people I met for the first time were: Faith Love, Ivy Sherwood, Alison Tyler
As always, it was a great convention and a world of fun.
Anybody who has any interest in the adult entertainment industry, and who has never attended any of the AVN Adult Entertainment Expos, should do their dead level best to take in one of the annual events at least once in their lives. I don’t see how they could not enjoy the experience!
