(HOLLYWOOD, CA) — Adult movie director will Ryder adds ‘lead vocalist’ to his resume’ by singing the theme song for Love Boat XXX a Parody for Adam & Eve Pictures. The funny movie trailer can be viewed on YouTube at www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIJPHzYu4jk as the DVD arrives in stores this week.
The movie is a picture-perfect spoof of the long-running 1970s ABC Television show that showcased a horny ship crew looking to get-it-on with passengers aboard a luxury cruise liner. The series was quite risque’ for its time and actually might not be allowed on the air today due to the political incorrectness of the interwoven stories made famous by Aaron Spelling.
Ryder felt it only fair that his musical theme song be allowed to poke some good natured sexual fun at the original famous theme song penned by the great Charles Fox and Norman Gimbel and sung by Jack Jones.
When asked why he sang rather than hire a professional session singer, Ryder explained, “The lyrics were way too perverted for any stuffed shirt to sing plus whenever session musicians come into the studio they expect to see naked girls masturbating on the sofa so it’s really a bummer for them when all they see is me, a bunch of recording equipment and my co-producer Rock Hardson,” Ryder laughed. “It takes a while for them to get over their initial disappointment of realizing they’re not getting laid.”
“Will is a decent singer especially if you’re tone deaf,” Hardson offered. “I can honestly say he did a really good job playing the piano on Love Boat and Not the Wizard of Oz XXX but when it comes to singing, truth be told he ain’t no Justin Timberlake.”
Love Boat XXX features Sunny Lane, Capri Cavanni, Jessa Rhodes, Penny Pax, Kendall Karson and Gia Grace. Sexing them up are Captain Stubing, Gopher, Isaac the Bartender, and Doc played by Steve Nelson, Tyler Nixon, Tee Reel and Kurt Lockwood respectively. Evan Stone, Seth Gamble, Kevin Wang, Ron Jeremy and James Bartholet play the male passengers. Sexy female passengers include Nikki Daniels, Lucky Star, Selma Sins, Nikki Chase and Liv Aguilera.
