Kurt Lockwood performing in two upcoming Comedy gig
(LOS ANGELES-March 25th, 2013)
Legendary Adult Film Star Kurt Lockwood is taking to the stage for two stand-up comedy gigs in March and April. Lockwood is just one of many adult film performers who are making a transition of sorts into the mainstream arena.
On March 27th, Lockwood will be performing at Sardo’s in Burbank
On April 20th, Lockwood takes the main stage at the world famous Comedy Store on the Sunset Strip, opening up for comedian and actor Bobby Lee.
” Anyone working in the adult business for an extended period of time will have a thousand crazy and unique stories to tell, so to all of those true to life stories and tell them on The Comedy Store stage is actually a really natural progression, stated Lockwood.
” Add to that my background in theatre, comedy improv, and training I received at The world famous Groundlings where such stars as Mike Myers, Kristen Wig, and Will Farrell came from, I feel that I’m ready to take on the challenge. Let’s face it, after having sex on camera in front of a crew for years and years, standing up in front of a crowd of strangers telling jokes isn’t that hard in comparison. the only thing is that the whole imaging your audience naked to calm your on stage nerves thing doesn’t really apply to an adult film star right?, chuckled Lockwood.
Lockwood, has been in high demand, since returning to work in front of the cameras, and is filming practically every week. Lockwood just wrapped on X Play’s “Not The Wizard of OZ XXX”, and starts production of X Play’s newest parody release “Not The Love Boat XXX” in April.
