Myles’ Weekend Adventures: Katsuni, Kevin Wang’s Birthday Party, Comic Book Live

Bonjour mon amis! Comment ca va? Myles Shaffer here. This column will be about a very sexy French lady, a quite unique birthday party, and a large amount of great laughs. So, for those of you who are now curious, read on and all will become clear.

Katsuni

Friday night, February 22, I went to the City of Industry Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen’s Club to say hello to Katsuni and to observe both of her shows of the evening.

To start her first show of the evening, Katsuni walked onto the stage with a long cigarette holder with an unlit cigarette in it. She was wearing a black top hat with a red hatband and a somewhat long piece of black lace hanging from the back of it. With the top hat, she also wore a pair of elbow-length black gloves. She next wore a long red and black bustier or it might possibly have been a legless body suit of sorts. She also wore a large belt-like piece that had a good-sized ruffled, almost flower-like, piece of material on each hip.

Katsuni additionally wore a large black piece of material trimmed with red lines along the edges wrapped around her waist and giving the appearance of an almost floor-length skirt that was slit up to the top front of her right thigh. Beneath her, ‘skirt,’ Katsuni wore a black loincloth with tiers of fringe, and under her bustier, body suit, or whatever, she wore a silver bra. Beneath her loincloth, Katsuni wore a silver thong. The bra and thong set may have only appeared to be silver in color because of being so heavily encrusted with silver sequins. When Katsuni removed her thong, she revealed a red and black G-string. Finishing out her costume were a pair of black shoes with ankle straps, stiletto heels, and platform soles.

During this show, Katsuni only got up close and personal with one female tip rail patron. However, toward the end of the show, she pulled one man onto the stage, stripped him down to his waist, put a bikini bra and a pair of pink bunny ears on him and proceeded to play around with him.

For various reasons, the DJ was unable to help me identify Katsuni’s music or the performing artists or groups. The fellow who was assisting Katsuni told me that he would gather the information and e-mail it to me within one or two days. It has now been six days and still no e-mail; therefore, unless I receive the information within the next few hours, I will not be able to report said information about the music Katsuni danced to. (I didn’t recognize a single number she danced to.)

At the beginning of her second show, Katsuni wore a neck piece that formed pointed white collars with a little black necktie in the middle. Next she wore a small, low-cut, midriff top. She also wore a black leather corset and a black leather mini-skirt. The corset and the mini-skirt were both decorated with shiny metal studs. Beneath her top and her mini-skirt, Katsuni wore a black leather bra and a black leather G-string-like thong. And for footwear, she wore the same shoes that she wore during her first show.

In the customer interaction department during this show, Katsuni once again got up close and personal with the same female customer and also with a few randomly selected male tip rail inhabitants. And once again, she pulled one man onto the stage, stripped him to the waist, made him lie down on the stage, removed his shoes and socks, played around with him for a while, then sprinkled the majority of a bottle of water over him. (She later tossed a tee-shirt out to him for his troubles.)

Katsuni is a beautiful mixture of half-French and half-Vietnamese. This combination results in Katsuni having a rather exotic look. She has long light brown hair and brown eyes. She is five feet seven inches tall, weighs one hundred twenty-one pounds, and she measures a very sexy-looking 34D-27-35.

I have always found Katsuni to be very friendly, and she enjoys meeting and chatting with her fans.

I consider Katsuni to be a must see. So if anybody who might be reading this article ever gets an opportunity to go to a nearby club to see her perform and to meet her in person, they should not allow said opportunity to slip past them!

Katsuni can be located at www.ilovekatsuni.com/. Her news, written both in French and English, can also be found there. She also has an official website at www.clubkatsuni.com/.

Kevin Wang’s Birthday Party

Saturday night, February 23, I went to Skinny’s Lounge in North Hollywood to spend some time at Kevin Wang’s Big Dirty Thirty Birthday Bash.

The people I recognized who were in attendance at the party were: Nikki Daniels, Constance ‘Connie’ Le, Sami Ross, Lucky Starr, Natasha Starr, Jack Vegas, and Kevin Wang of course. After all, it was his birthday that we were all there to celebrate.

The evening started off with a performance of the, “Victory Variety Hour Burlesque.” The show was hosted and M.C.ed by comedian Gary Shapiro.

The, “Victory Variety Hour Burlesque,” show is a mixture of burlesque, comedy, and music much as the shows back in the golden age of burlesque.

First to perform her act was Lily LaRue

Next came a musical performance by, “Marissa Gomez and the Ghosts of Echo Park,” with Marissa on lead vocals and Reseda Mickey on keyboards and background vocals on this night.

Then Penny Starr introduced Kevin Wang and had him sit on a chair on the stage. Once Kevin was seated, none other than Lucky Starr came onto the stage in a very sexy costume and carrying a pair of white feather fans. Lucky then proceeded to give a mini-performance just for Kevin’s benefit. (Of course, those of us in the audience didn’t mind watching Lucky one little bit!)

Next Mercury Troy performed a very funny burlesque act. (The act must be seen to be appreciated, because I simply am not a great enough writer to describe the act in detail and do it justice.)

Mercury Troy also performed her own style of go-go dancing during each of the two intermissions during the show.

Next to perform was Cheri Chartreuse.

Cheri was followed on stage with a performance by Iza La Vamp.

Next up came a performance by Lucky Deluxe.

Penny Starr Jr. who, if my eyesight isn’t completely gone, was the same woman known as Penny Starr. (The show was produced and directed by Penny.)

Then for the ladies, and maybe a few of the men, came a performance by a male burlesque artist known as Lord Londonbridge. (While I could have just as well done without seeing a male stripper, I will admit that he performed well.)

Next came a second musical performance by, “Marissa Gomez and the Ghosts of Echo Park.”

The show closed with a performance by Diamondback Annie.

(Based upon what I have seen on the calendar page of Skinny’s website, the performers showcased in the, “Victory Variety Hour Burlesque,” show appear to change from performance to performance.)

Once the burlesque show had ended, Kevin Wang, Lucky Starr, and the people who were there to help Kevin celebrate were moved to a VIP area to party. (Unfortunately, I had another commitment this night, so I had to say my goodbyes and head out to fulfill my other commitment.)

Skinny’s turned out to be a nice, clean, place to have some fun.

The interior of the lounge is laid out in a large ‘L’ shape. The bar area is located along nearly the entire length of the horizontal portion of the ‘L’ with the large vertical portion of the ‘L’ being the ‘showroom’.

Once the burlesque show had ended, all the folding chairs were removed revealing a nice dance floor. (From what the doorman told me, the burlesque show was followed by a DJ spinning music for people to dance to.)

If the readers were to go to Skinny’s website at skinnyslounge.com/ and take a look at the calendar page, they would see that Skinny’s has quite a variety of events to entertain the customers. It seems to be a great place to see not only the burlesque show twice a month, but a good number of local bands can be seen and heard there.

Comic Book Live

I left Kevin’s birthday celebration at approximately 10:30PM and doubled back to the iO West Theater to observe the performance of, “Comic Book Live: The Walking Dead.”

The cast of the show on this night consisted of: Brandon Barrick, Tommy Bechtold, David Chung, Peter Fluet, Chris Gore, Zach Huddleston, the beautiful adult film star Justine Joli, the always sexy Markeia McCarty, Patrick Ian Moore, and Dustin Sterling.

My sweet and sexy friend Liz Ebeling was also present and running around doing anything and everything she could to ensure that the night’s performance went off without a hitch.

The cast of the show gave the most hilarious performance to date causing the audience to laugh almost continuously.

I do recommend that anybody who is able to do so should attend, “Glory Stories,” held on Friday nights, and/or, “Comic Book Live,” held on Saturday nights, at their earliest convenience. I’m certain that they will enjoy the experience, and it is an inexpensive date!

And that will do it one more time. Everybody should return here the next time to continue the discussion of sexy women and fun times. Until then, everybody stay safe, have a great week, and live life as if there were no tomorrow!

Bonsoir et au revoir,

Myles Shaffer
