At the AVN Convention industry people are super busy. It’s a tough, hectic week. For the girls, time is consumed signing for fans, making the party scene, meeting business people, and for some, keeping track of their bookings. To get interviews during these compressed days is catch as catch can, as the old saying goes.
Within my own schedule, I was fortunate late in the week to talk with Foxxx Modeling’s Chris Cain. During a recent visit to California, I spent some time with Chris in his Woodland Hills office. He always talks about his girls and on this occasion he introduces me to a newbie from the Midwest.
Her name is Sara Hide and she’s giving the business in Porn Valley a try. We settle in at a restaurant and I notice immediately she looks young by adult film standards, but soon discover she is well into her twenties. Good news, many shooting possibilities are open for her. Bored housewife, steamy secretary, and MILF come immediately to mind.
Conservatively attired in blue, she is stunning.
Sara is a little shy and spoke quietly which I find endearing. (I later learned this was her first meeting with Chris.)
Her tests are clear, Chris says, she’s ready to go. He then points out the obvious, “She has a killer body, very cute, very attractive girl.”
I agree. But I would step beyond cute and try innocently sultry. She has a good dose of the “girl next door” look that will put her in demand very fast. Her skin is flawless, Chris adds, and I joke about feeding the girls right in America’s heartland.
Here’s the skinny on this fresh face. A Nebraska native, Sara Hide is educated, and spent time exotic dancing in North Dakota (likely in an oil boom town, but I didn’t ask). She’s shot in Florida getting her porn feet wet in the east coast’s agreeable climes.
A bartender by trade, Sara ventured west and met some people, as she puts it, who tweaked her interest in doing adult film L.A. style.
“They kind of talked me into it,” this brunette hottie says, “I really like sex, so I figured why not try it.”
Sara Hide has her act together and is on her starting blocks. Her repertoire is a little vacant right now. Sara’s done nothing yet with interracial, bondage, or anal, preferring straight boy/girl. Seeing her grow up porn wise will be a delight for her fans. She’ll approach her future one step at a time, I’m sure, and with a maturity that isn’t always found in barely legal girls. Of course, Sara is working for a licensed agent, the most intelligent decision she’s made in her career.
Sara’s living in Vegas and will travel to L.a. Chris is setting up some work for her, but with his characteristic deliberate speed.
“I usually start a girl out a little slowly,” he explains, “to get her acclimated if she’s just getting into the industry.”
Chris reinforces that he secures for his models the type of work that minimizes a girl’s stress level if she’s a neophyte. “I like to get them used to some easy scenes, get that under their belts, get them comfortable. I’ll talk to Sara and see if she would like to do that.”
Knowing a little about how Chris handles his clients, I suspect she’ll take his advice. Foxxx Modeling is a member of Licensed Adult Talent Agency Trade Association (LATATA). The organization maintains working standards for its members and professional reassurance for models who can be easily victimized by unlicensed agents. In the adult business, reputation and honesty matter at all levels, especially for agents who are on the frontline of every shoot.
Our conversation takes a free flow. Sara tells me she did some MILF work in Florida and shot a scene for Cum Fiesta before moving west. That’s a good beginning and I wish her well.
“I’m really excited,” she beamed.
So am I, for her. Keep an eye on this talent, Sara Hide is ready to be noticed.
