(WASHINGTON, DC) — The CatalystCon East sexuality conference is planning three featured entertainment events for Saturday night at the 3-day event. CatalystCon East will be held March 15-17 in D.C.-adjacent Arlington, Virginia.
“One of the goals of CatalystCon is for everyone to get to know each other and make new connections,” said founder Dee Dennis. “These evening events give CatalystCon participants the chance to interact socially and relax after a long day of intense conversations and sessions.”
The three entertainment events represent the moving image, the spoken word, and an audience participation game. Erotic writer/editor Rachel Kramer Bussel will host a special edition of her “In the Flesh” reading series, which features CatalystCon speakers presenting “stories to get you hot and bothered.” Scheduled speakers include Reid Mihalko, Joan Price, Carol Queen and Regie Cabico.
Sex educator and author Ducky DooLittle will host “Dirty Bingo” where participants can expect loads of laughs, story telling, and the opportunity to win fun and sexy prizes. CineKink, “The kinky film festival,” will present “A Taste of CineKink,” a specially selected program of films and videos that celebrate and explore the wide diversity of sexuality drawn from both the independent film world and the adult industry.

About CatalystCon:
CatalystCon is a conference created to inspire exceptional conversations about sexuality. It is about reaching out and stimulating those who attend to create those important conversations in their own communities, changing how we as a society talk and treat sexuality. It is about stimulating the activist that is within all of us and sparking transformation in the way our friends, neighbors, children and even politicians discuss one of the most important aspects of humanity. Founder Dee Dennis regards this conference as a “melting pot of sexuality” that will unite sex educators, sexologists, sex workers, writers, activists, and anyone with a passion for creating change. The fundamental principle behind CatalystCon is “knowledge is power, and sharing that knowledge is the first spark in igniting change.” The first CatalystCon West took place in Long Beach, California, and CatalystCon East will debut in Arlington, Virginia in March 2013.
