At a time when most adult studios are seeing their sales plummet, my projects are enjoying record sales. In fact I have three projects available with major mainstream promotion and pre-established fan bases.
The r-rated version of Tight has earned more than $1,000,000 in DVD and VOD sales since its release in October. The film, which the New York Post has called ‘the best mockumentary since Spinal Tap,’ follows the world’s only porn star rock band as they attempt to make it big in the music biz. As soon as the mainstream run ends we will be releasing 6 full-length XXX volumes. These movies star Bree Olson, Alexis Texas, Monica Mayhem, Jenny Hendrix, Madison Scott, Phoenix Marie and dozens of other popular porn stars. They may be the first direct mainstream to XXX films ever made.
The PG-rated Lingerie Fighting Championships is debuting on more than 250 cable systems in March and is expected to be one of the best selling PPV and VOD properties of 2013. The league is creating huge social media buzz and needed just 3 weeks to become the third most popular MMA league on FaceBook (www.facebook.com/lfcfighting). LFC is creating a community that no porn is capable of. We are currently putting together a XXX version of LFC called Ultimate Porn Fighter, this series will feature some of the hottest porn stars in the world fighting and having sex in choreographed MMA bouts.
Finally, I am producing a follow-up to my groundbreaking Starz and ITV reality series “Make Me a Porn Star”. Entitled simply “Porn Star,” the new series stars 4 mega-talented mainstream actresses as porn stars trying to make ends meet when the industry is shut down due to a syphilis outbreak. This edgy mockumentary will have a XXX version as we will cast porn stars who look like our mainstream cast to shoot the girl’s flashback porn scenes. How have I had 3 XXX-themed projects (Make Me a Porn Star, the Boy Nexxt Door and Tight) each earn millions in this economy and climate? By thinking not only of the project but how the project will be promoted in mainstream. These projects financial success (as well as my cable MMA networks) have put me in a position where I can actually afford to produce whatever project catches my fancy.
