(LOS ANGELES, CA) — The Seventh Vivid Entertainment-XCritic.com Sex Tracker Survey of people’s porn viewing preferences indicates a strong preference for so-called MILF movies that feature mature actresses. A total of 85.2 percent of respondents to the latest poll said they enjoy this genre, with 37.4 percent saying they “love MILF porn.” Just 8.2 percent said they “seen some and it’s not my thing” and 2.2 percent said they would “never watch it.” The entire survey is available at: www.surveymonkey.com/s/5952YGZ.
The Seventh Sex Tracker Survey also asked a number of questions about Measure B, a new law passed by Los Angeles voters in November that requires adult film performers to wear condoms and other protective gear when making movies in LA County. A total of 92.4 percent said they do not think voters realized they were requiring performers to use dental dams, gloves, goggles and lab coats. And 80.7 percent said voters did not get the message that “rigorous and frequent testing of performers kept them safer than condoms,” while 91.9 percent said they would not “purchase an adult movie with the performers wearing hazmat gear.”
The survey respondents were also asked their views on nominations for the AVN Awards for adult films, with 43.8 percent saying nominations have “slight” importance while 33.6 percent said nominations are “very” or “extremely” important, and 22.7 percent said they are “Not important at all.” XBIZ Award nominations are of slight or no importance to 77.5 percent of the respondents, with 22.5 percent saying they are “extremely” or “very” important. Of the XBIZ Award winners, 75.3 percent said the honor had slight or no importance in determining what films they watch, while 24.7 percent said they played a role in picking what they watch. AVN Award winners fared better, with 41.3 per cent of respondents saying they are “very” or “extremely” important while 22.2 percent saying they were not at all important.
