(LOS ANGELES, CA) — “Superman vs Spider-Man XXX: An Axel Braun Parody,” the latest adult parody from Vivid Entertainment, has just landed at #1 on both the AVN Weekly Retail Buzz and Top 200 Sales and Rentals charts. The movie, which pits two of the greatest superheroes of all time against one another in a sexual face-off, has received stellar reviews since it went on sale in November 2012.
“It is a real honor for any producer to rise to the top of the charts, but it’s especially rewarding to be doing so well on both of the AVN measures of popularity,” said Braun.
Signs that the title would be a hit emerged when a safe-for-work trailer of the movie released earlier in 2012 attracted enormous attention on YouTube.
In his review of Superman vs. Spider-Man, XCritic.com’s Don Houston noted that the movie is “The kind of production that is becoming increasingly rare in the porn world” while Nightmoves Magazine’s Art Koch wrote, “The attention to detail, casting and overall perfection is what makes an Axel Braun production a cut above others. This is 5 star all the way and will be a big force come awards time.” Famed review site Adult DVD Talk also gives it 5 stars, stating: “In all honesty, this may be the best Braun superhero parody of the bunch. It’s awesome.”
“Superman vs Spider-Man XXX: An Axel Braun Parody” was shot and mastered in 1080 HD and the 2-disc Collector’s Edition package includes, among the many extras, an erotic non-sex spoof version.
