(RESEDA, CA) — Principal photography is wrapped on Girlfriends Films’ new movie benefiting Elexis Monroe. The movie is part of Girlfriends Films’ popular series, “Lesbian Sex,” which is a documentation of real confessions and unscripted sex scenes. Each of the performers in “Lesbian Sex: Volume 10” is donating half her earnings from the movie to help cover Monroe’s medical fees, an amount matched by Girlfriends Films.

In November 2012, Elexis Monroe was rushed to the hospital, suffering from severe infections in her face as a result of dental abscesses. Though an initial surgery initially prevented the infection from spreading, Monroe must undergo additional surgeries and mounting medical expenses.
As soon as word spread about the special volume of “Lesbian Sex,” Girlfriends Films was bombarded by requests from performers to participate in the movie. Touched by the outpouring of support, Elexis Monroe selected 8 ladies for the film, which she will host. The cast includes Samantha Ryan, Lily Cade, Jessie Andrews, Sinn Sage, Zoey Holloway, Aaliyah Love, Elle Alexandra, and Sovereign Syre.
“Thank you to everyone,” says Elexis Monroe.
“I’m very proud of all the girls that stepped up to help,” Girlfriends Films owner Dan O’Connell states. “I’ve always wanted to broadcast how great the talent is in our business. We’re such a vilified industry; we have to try especially hard to make a good impression on the general public, but if people could see our true colors in these situations, it may change their minds.”
In addition to the movie, Elexis Monroe was also the recipient of Girlfriends Films’ December charity donation of $1000. Monroe is a cherished member of the Girlfriends Films family, and the company is committed to helping her during her time of need
