(CHATSWORTH, CA) — Subscription website Amateur Allure (AmateurAllure.com) has been nominated as “Best Membership Site” at the upcoming AVN Awards. It’s the first nomination for Amateur Allure, which offers first-person POV scenes.

Since its inception, Amateur Allure has helped define the POV genre and become one of the most recognizable adult websites online. Launched in August of 1999, owner/creator Thomas served as the sole director and male talent for the first decade of the site’s existence. Much of the recent success of Amateur Allure is attributed to director Ray, who started in 2000 doing BTS camera and music for legendary ’70s Golden Age director Bob Chinn. Soon after, Ray entered the blogosphere with photography and media work, and he started shooting content in the mid-2000’s. In 2008, his photo and video work caught the attention of Amateur Allure, where he was named Producer and Director of Content in 2011.
