Myles’ Weekend Adventures: Pornstar Karaoke Club aka PSK, Rylie Richman, Katie Kinns
Bonjour mon amis! Comment ca va? Myles Shaffer here. Because there hasn’t been too much going on that I was able to attend, this column will be about some more karaoke singing and two extremely interesting young women as an extra added bonus. So my beloved readers, please read on and enjoy.
Pornstar Karaoke Club
Tuesday evening, November 13, I went to Sardo’s Grill and Lounge, in Burbank, to spend some time having my ears assailed by bad singing, hearing some reasonably good singing during Pornstar Karaoke Club, and observing fun-loving adult entertainment industry people enjoying themselves.
The people I know who were in attendance during this evening were: James Bartholet, Trinity St. Clair, Kiki D’Aire, Tod Hunter, Tessa Lane, Nadia Night, and Lucky Starr.
Another person there that I know was the always sexy and beautifully dressed Mika Tan. Mika was filling in for Nicki Hunter as the hostess and doing a great job as always!
Why Nicki was not there I have no idea. Although, I must assume that it was other business or family matters. Nicki always does her best to fulfill her obligations even if she is sick. I know this for a fact, because I have seen her hosting an event when I knew that she was sick at the time.
Vanessa Naughty was also there, but I never got around to going over and introducing myself.
One of the people in attendance this night that I’ve never met before was Dane Cross, and I still haven’t gotten around to meeting him. However, I did see him sing twice, and I must say that he did a lot better than the vast majority of karaoke singers that have assaulted my tender ears during my life. At least he can carry a tune, and he has a decent singing voice. (Being a good singer is not one of my virtues, and that used to bug me considerably, but not anymore. I have learned over the years that life is entirely too short to waste time sweating the small stuff.)
In addition to being male talent, Dane is also a director in the adult film industry.
Another newbie, or at least she was new to me, that was in attendance was a beautiful southern belle from North Carolina who is known by the name of Rylie Richman.
Rylie made a big enough impression upon me the moment I first saw her that I made it a point to go over and introduce myself once Tod Hunter told me who she was.
Yes, when I went over to say hello and speak with Tod, I made it a point to ask him if he knew who Rylie was. (For some reason, I had already decided that I was getting tired of going to PSK and asking good-looking young women who they are just to find out that half of them are non-industry girls. [I strongly suspect that many of the non-industry women who show up are just there out of curiosity]).
Getting back to Rylie, if I was greatly impressed with her before I spoke with her, my impression after introducing myself was very nearly out of this world! The lady made my night within our first couple of minutes of speaking with each other! (I am hoping to see a lot more of this young lady! I would love nothing better than for Rylie to become one of my best friends in the industry!)
Another sexy lady I met for the first time during the evening was Katie Kinns. Katie is currently working as an executive assistant to James Bartholet at Galaxy Publicity. Katie was escorted by her good friend Xander Corvus. (Xander is male talent in the adult film industry.)
Katie just happened to be celebrating her twenty-fifth birthday on this particular night.
About Katie
In her own words, Katie began her life as quite a tomboy and played every sport she ever heard of with soccer and hockey being her favorite sports. She even played college soccer until two torn ligaments in one of her knees ended her college sports career.
When Katie was only fifteen, she started doing a lot of work in the music industry and toured with bands such as Buckcherry, the Bangkok Five, Papa Roach, the Cult, the Dreaming (formerly known as Stabbing Westward) and countless others.
While working in the music industry, Katie began doing some regular mainstream modeling.
Because the music and the adult entertainment industries have done quite a bit of co-mingling in recent years, at the age of 16, Katie’s fascination with adult entertainment began with her viewing Suicide Girls types of photos.
When Katie was 17, she booked her first adult photo shoot with Razordolls.com and shot her first nude set for them three days after her eighteenth birthday. She also shot for Suicide Girls a few weeks later.
There was a makeup artist who also worked in the adult entertainment industry on the set one day when Katie was doing a mainstream photo shoot. Because of this situation, JacktheZipper somehow saw some of Katie’s photos and contacted her. As a result, Katie spent the ages of eighteen to twenty as his, “Lil Roller Girl,” as he called her.
Katie has worked for Razordolls, Type 9 Models, New Sensations, and for a while, she was one of Joanna Angel’s Burning Angel girls.
When Katie was nineteen years old, she did her first girl/girl scene with Stoya. (I was reportedly also Stoya’s first girl/girl scene.) The scene was part of an adult film entitled, “Sister Midnight.” She then worked here and there in different films and projects, and she worked for a time as a cam model.
There later came a time when Katie worked as a preschool teacher. Once the economy took its big downturn, she lost that job and began focusing on finding work in the adult entertainment industry. Katie has said this was because she truly wanted on ongoing career in the industry.
There came an evening when Katie went to a Fleshlight Searchlight party at, “The Comedy Store,” with Ash Hollywood. While at the party, Katie meet and spoke with James Bartholet. This resulted in her working for James as his assistant at Galaxy Publicity and on the, “Inside the Industry,” radio show on LA Talk Radio.
Katie has said that she loves her job. She also said that she occasionally does private videos on request, and that she plans to work in front of the camera again on a few projects that she would really like to be a part of. (Katie told this writer during her birthday party at PSK that she is seriously thinking about going back in front of the camera to work with her friend Xander Corvus.)
Katie is not just a young woman who works in the adult entertainment industry. She is also an intelligent and extremely well informed and interesting person in her private life. She is family oriented, she loves animals, and she is a big fan of the Los Angeles Kings.
Katie is into politics, she is an avid reader, and she has a big fascination with England and its culture during the 1500s to the 1800s time frame.
This lovely lady is a bisexual women who loves men and women sexually in completely different ways.
One last note on this subject is that Katie said that she has worked in front of the camera under several different names during the earlier parts of her involvement with the adult entertainment industry.
