(VAN NUYS, CA) — DreamZone Entertainment is proud to announce that “Godfather XXX: A DreamZone Parody” received 9 XBIZ Award Nominations this week, including ‘Parody release of the Year-Comedy’. The XXX spoof of the 1972 Academy Award-winning mob drama by iconic filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola was directed by equally renowned adult film Director, Lee Roy Meyers.
In addition to the ‘Parody release of the Year-Comedy’ nomination, the movie was also recognized as a nominee in the following award categories: ‘Best Actress – Parody release’: Kagney Linn Karter; ‘Best Actor-Parody release’: Tommy Pistol; ‘Best Supporting Actress’: April O’Neil; ‘Best Supporting Actor’: Chad Diamond and Michael Vegas; ‘Best Scene-Parody release’: April O’Neil & Tommy Pistol; ‘Screenplay of the Year’: Lee Roy Myers and ‘Best Non-Sex Acting Performance’: Peter O’Tool.
‘Godfather XXX: A DreamZone Parody’ takes viewers into the Whorleone family. As head of the world’s largest adult-film distribution company, the Dong has accumulated many friends, but even more enemies. At the brink of porn war, the organization eases the tension with orfices that no one can refuse and a raunchy dose of revenge. Entangled in these treacherous webs of deceit and debauchery are Peter O’Tool as the Dong Vito Whorleone, Kagney Linn Karter as Kay, Tommy Pistol as Michael, Jessie Andrews as Jenny Fontaine, April O’Neil as Slutzo, Michael Vegas as Sonny and Anthony Rosano as Luca. Bridgette B., Veruca James and Mr. Pete also make appearances.
The double-disc set includes the full-length hardcore version of the movie, a non-sex “Friendly Version,” extensive Behind-the-Scenes footage, photo galleries, as well as outtakes, bloopers and interviews with the all-star cast. Shortly after its release in July of this year, the feature-parody was designated as an XBIZ ‘Editor’s Choice,’ with the leading adult industry media outlet calling the film, “sexy, fun & clever”. The review went onto add, “What makes ‘the Godfather XXX’ such a strong parody is the fact that [Lee Roy] Myers doesn’t try to take on the original’s scope, but instead shrinks it down to a concise, subtle display of spoof and homage”.
