Myles ShafferMyles’ Weekend Adventures: Exotic Dancer Gentlemen’s Club Owners Expo, Karaoke XXX

Bonjour mon amis! Comment ca va? Myles Shaffer here. Since I have fallen behind schedule with my columns, the Miss Nude 2012 Contest is currently happening at Wild J’s Gentlemen’s Club, in Canute, Oklahoma, and by the time this article has been published, the event will be past history. I wish all the ladies who are competing all the best and good luck! Now let us move on to the subject of this particular column.

Exotic Dancer Gentlemen’s Club Owners Expo 20 Year Reunion

Sunday, August 26, I drove up to Las Vegas, Nevada, to attend the Exotic Dancer Gentlemen’s Club Owners Expo 20 Year Reunion and as many other happenings, related or otherwise, as I could.

The moment I hit town, I stopped to top off my gasoline tank, went to Mandalay Bay to pick up my press credentials, went to my hotel to check in, and ate at the hotel’s buffet.

While in the registration area at the Mandalay Bay picking up my press credentials, I ran into Tony Batman, Leah Bay, Lexi Lamour, Nina Mercedez (She was actually working with the Exotic Dancer registration team.), and Ricky Rich.

Once I had taken care of all the little odds and ends, I went to the Ace reception at the Erotic Heritage Museum.

About a quarter to 9PM, I moved next door to the Deja Vu to observe the Miss Exotic United States Pageant semi-finals.

If anybody has not yet read the details about these two events, they can do so at ainews.com/story/21908/

Between the time I arrived at the Erotic Heritage Museum and the time that the Miss Exotic United States Pageant semi-finals started next door at the Deja Vu Showgirls of Las Vegas, I ran into Krystle Cummings, Naomi Knight, Brittany Love, and Devon Lee.

During and after the semi-finals, I ran into Aspen Reign and Rio Rivers who is the lady behind the Miss Exotic United States Pageant.

Karaoke XXX

Monday evening, I went to the Red Label Bar for Karaoke XXX.

I had originally planned to only stay at the Red Label Bar for a little while and then move over to the Expo opening party at Mandalay Bay. However, I spoke for too long with too many people causing me to stay longer than planned up to a point that I realized by the time I drove to Mandalay Bay, found a parking spot and walked into the hotel, the party would just about be over. So, I stayed put for a little while longer, then went to my hotel and turned in for the night.

While I was there for Karaoke XXX, I ran into Rebecca Love, Shay Lynn, and sexologist Dr. Amanda Morgan who is associated with the Erotic Heritage Museum.

Also while at Karaoke, I met Alura Jenson, Sammi Spades, and Sonny Hicks. I additionally met Claudia Marie’s other half, Robby.

Claudia Marie and Robby have a band called, “Trailer Park Trash.” If I remember correctly, Robby told me that the band performs a lot of rock songs from the eighties, and they perform frequently in various bars and nightclubs in and around Las Vegas.

Before the evening was over, Tony Batman made his way from the opening party at Mandalay Bay over to the Red Label Bar to make an appearance at Karaoke XXX.

Expo Trade Show

Tuesday afternoon, I attended the Owners Expo trade show. During that afternoon, I came across the founder and owner of the Burning Angel production company Joanna Angel, Wicked Pictures contract star Elektra Blue, the Nude Comedian Jade Simone St. Clair, who is also a great veteran feature performer, Robyn Foxx, Whitney Grace, Nicki Hunter, Girlfriends Films contract star Prinzzess Felicity Jade, Joslyn James, Ron Jeremy, veteran feature performer, pole dancer extraordinaire, and co-owner of the a-List Features Agency Nakita Kash, Rachelle Laree, and Devon Lee.

During the afternoon, I also came across Gina Lynn, Candy Manson, Jynx Maze, Nina Mercedez, Kiara Mia, Michelle Mowery and Candy Reign who were both there representing Wild J’s Gentlemen’s Club, in Canute, Oklahoma, Teagan Presley, Kirsten Price, Ann Marie Rios, and Tarryn Wylde.

During the day, I met for the first time Farrah Frost, Isis Haze, Lisa Licious, and Violet Renee.

The Miss Exotic United States Pageant finals were held on a stage in the middle of the trade show floor during this afternoon. To check out the list of the winners, go to ainews.com/story/21908/

The Miss Pole Champ contest was held on the same stage following the Miss United States finals. And the winners were Christina Aguchi, Farrah Frost, and Tiffany Hayden. (I have to thank Misha More for the information about the Miss Pole Champ contest. Without her able assistance, I would not have been able to report on this.)

Exotic Dancer Awards Show

Tuesday evening, I attended the Exotic Dancer Awards Show at the Orleans Hotel and Casino.

While waiting for time to enter the auditorium for the start of the show, I ran into Alexis Amore, Daisy Duxe, Scorpiana Hachett, Ruby (Man, was it ever wonderful to see my long time friend Ruby. I had not seem her since she retired a few years ago!), Natasha Vega, and the founder of Exotic Dancer Publications Don Waitt.

The awards show went well and was most enjoyable, and it included performances by the Overall Entertainer of the Year nominees.

The show was hosted by comedian Pablo Francisco.

Brittany Love and Ronnie the Limo Driver presented the Solid Gold Club, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with the Southeast Club of the Year Award. They also presented the Southeast Small Club of the Year Award to Leather and Lace South, Charlotte, North Carolina, the Northeast Club of the Year Award to Cadillac Lounge, Providence, Rhode Island, and the Northeast Small Club of the Year Award to Little Darlings, Baltimore, Maryland.

A performance by Lisa Licious came next.

After Lisa Licious’ show, Windy Leigh and Jessica Justice presented the Central Region Club of the Year Award to the Penthouse Club, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the Central Region Small Club of the Year Award to Jaguars, Lubbock, Texas, the Club of the Year in the West Award to Crazy Horse III, Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Small Club of the Year in the West Award to Dream Girls, Seattle, Washington.

Next up were Aspen Reign and Devon Michaels presenting the Midwest Club of the Year Award to Club O, Chicago, Illinois, and the Midwest Small Club of the Year Award to Toy Chest, Detroit, Michigan.

These presentations were followed by a performance by the Aussie Blonde Bombshell Suzie Malone.

After Suzie had performed, Luke Lirot inducted Joe Redner into the Exotic Dancer Hall of Fame.

Now it was time for Jade Simone St. Clair to present the Feature Club of the Year Award to Crazy Horse, San Francisco, California, and the Club Favorite Feature Entertainer Award to Lacey Rain.

These presentations were followed by a performance by Gia Nova.

The next presenters were Nina Mercedez and Mary Carey. Mary and Mercedez presented the Club Employee of the Year Award to DJ Johnny Walker from the Solid Gold Club, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and the General Manager of the Year Award to Mike Watkins, Cabaret North, Fort Worth, Texas.

Now it was time for Ron Jeremy and Rachelle Laree to present the Newcomer Feature Entertainer of the Year Award to Natasha Vega, and the Miss ExoticDancer.com Award to Jayden Cole.

The last feature performance of the evening was ably performed by RubberDoll.

Following RubberDoll’s performance, Stormy Daniels and Zoe Britton presented the Adult Movie Feature Entertainer of the Year Award to Lisa Ann.

Next the host, comedian Pablo Francisco, presented the Club Chain of the Year Award to the Deja Vu Showgirls/Larry Flynt’s Hustler Clubs organization. He also presented the Overall Club of the Year Award to Tootsies Cabaret, North Miami, Florida.

Jade Simone St. Clair then presented the big one, and the Overall Entertainer of the Year Award went to Gia Nova!

While it was not listed on the program for whatever reason, at one point during the show, Jada Deville did a great performance starting out with one hula hoop and ending with more hula hoops than could be counted. (I’m still attempting to talk Jada into coming back out of retirement.)

Expo Trade Show, Second Day

During the trade show Wednesday afternoon, in addition to all the people I had seen that I already knew, and those that I had met for the first time, I found Sophie Dee. And, I met Tara Dega and Lylith Lavey for the first time.

During this afternoon, on the stage in the middle of the trade show floor, the World Pageants’ Guest Star Showcase was held. The showcase featured Shay Lynn, Kimberly Johnson, Justice (the first place winner of the Miss Exotic United States Pageant), Lil’ Bit, and the Evil Pin-Ups. The Evil Pin-Ups were Jaded Dawn and Natasha Vega.

After the trade show had ended, I took an entertainer I know to dinner. After we had finished eating, we attended the closing party.

Closing Party at Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club

Wednesday evening, I attended the closing party at Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club. There I was joined by Lillith Sinn, Leah Bay, and Leah’s lovely sister.

In addition to the party being held in one of the classiest gentlemen’s clubs in the country, and being surrounded by beautiful women and interesting people, the highlight of the night was the feature dancer showcase!

The feature showcase was hosted by Jade Simone St. Clair.

The features who performed in the showcase were Shay Lynn doing her military tribute show, Krystle Cummings doing her pirate show, and Christina Aguchi who did a Michael Jackson tribute show like none I’ve ever seen before. What made the show unique was the fact that Christina started the show with an apparatus that included two dummies, one on either side of her, that were dressed identically to Christina. The apparatus was constructed in such a way as to cause the two dummies to mimic Christina’s every move.

Also performing in the showcase was Rachelle Ryan doing her, “Scarface,” show.

There you have it for another year folks. I look forward to the 2013 Owners Expo! Let’s all tune in the next time to see what I have found to write about next. Until then, everybody stay safe, have a great week, and live life as if there were no tomorrow!

Bonsoir et au revoir,

Myles Shaffer
