The nomination comes hot on the heels of the launch of Skow Digital, the acclaimed director’s new production company. In addition to the Best Director nod, B. Skow’s diverse projects from the past year tallied 3 film noms: Best Feature Production (“Runaway”), Best Parody Comedy (“Pee Wee’s XXX Adventure Porn Parody), Best Gonzo / All Sex release (“Allie Haze: I Love Sex”).

Skow has earned an impressively diverse number of nominations from AVN and XBIZ, including Best Director and Best Screenplay, as well as noms in categories including blockbuster features, amateur, gonzo, parodies, and vignettes. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the NightMoves Awards. To celebrate, the show added several new categories and a barrage of pre-show festivities. The NightMoves Awards will be held Sunday, October 7, 2012, in Tampa, Florida.

B. Skow has been a major force in adult entertainment for the past 20 years, from one of the most accomplished commercial and fashion photographers in LA. To directing award-winning porn. In 1992, at the age of 21, Skow moved to Los Angeles and landed a photographer’s assistant job on a box cover shoot of a major adult studio. Though he only caught glimpses of the glamorous shoot, it was enough to change his life.
