Myles’ Weekend Adventures: Bonjour mon amis! Comment ca va? Myles Shaffer here. This column will involve a lot more great laughter. It will also be about another trip I had been looking forward to but had to cancel at the last minute. Yes, the cancellation was due to heavy debt and lack of money, again. (It would have been nice if I had won a lottery within the last couple of months, but that has yet to happen.)

So good people, let’s move along to see just what I did manage to do this time around.

Glory Stories

Friday evening, March 23, I went to the iO West Improv Theater to see, “Glory Stories,” with Charmane Star as the guest story teller.

The show was opened by, “The Wild.”

If I’m not mistaken, the cast of, “The Wild,” on this evening consisted of: Patrick Babbit, Greg Castle, Matt Cavedon, Nick Ehart, Karen Graci, Dawn Hunnicut, and Dustin Sterling.

If I have made any mistakes with the names of the cast members, I do apologize.

Next up came, “Glory Stories.” “Glory Stories,” was the headliner act, of course.

The cast of, “Glory Stories,” this night was: Nick Armstrong, Brandon Barrick, Tiffani Ann Mills, Patrick Ian Moore, Neil Ruddy, Andy Trask and the guest story teller, Charmane Star.

Everybody did a fine job of providing lots of great humor. And, Charmane looked great up on the stage as well as being funny with her stories regarding her experiences within the adult entertainment industry.

Somebody I would love to see as guest story tellers sooner than later would be Evan Stone and Syren Spell together. Since I know and have spent quite a bit of time in the company of Evan and Syren, I have a hunch that the two of them would do a great job as guest story tellers. Whether or not this might ever happen, who knows?

The next, “Glory Stories,” will take place the evening of Friday, April 13, at 11PM. The scheduled guest story teller for that night is to be April Flores.

The following performance of, “Glory Stories,” will happen at 11PM the evening of Friday, April 27. My dear friend, Kiki D’Aire, is scheduled to be the guest story teller that night.

Even though I keep on calling for more of the people in the adult entertainment industry to attend a performance of, “Glory Stories,” and have a few laughs, I’m still not seeing that many of the people I know showing up. Come on folks, get out of the house, and let’s have some fun!

The iO West Improv Theater is located at 6366 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, California.

Another Expedition Canceled

I had planned to hit the road the afternoon of Wednesday, March 28, and head east. I was going to stop in Albuquerque, New Mexico, long enough to spend a little time at Knockouts, the club Kylea Killeen is calling her home club currently, see her dance, then take her to dinner later.

After dinner and a great conversation, my plan was to continue on to Ponca City, Oklahoma, where I would have spent Friday and Saturday evenings, March 30 and 31, hanging out with Natasha Vega and observing all of her shows both nights.

I would have then moved back down to Oklahoma City to visit some of my relatives, after which, I would have headed back home Monday afternoon, April 2.

(I later learned that Rain was scheduled to feature dance at a club in Wichita Falls, Texas, Monday, April 2 through Saturday, April 7. I learned this first thing the morning I would have started my trip. Therefore, if I had been able to carry out my plans, once I left Oklahoma City, I would have driven down to Wichita Falls to spend at least one evening with Rain before heading home.)

Alas, I decided to cancel the trip. What with the ridiculously high price of gasoline and my current lack of any money to speak of, the trip simply wasn’t financially feasible at the time. (I was really looking forward to greatly surprising Natasha.)

Hopefully, there will come a day when I will be able to get to a club for one of Natasha’s feature bookings.

Okay folks, that will just about do it for now. Let’s all return here the next time to see what I have managed to do next. Whatever it might be, it will involve gorgeous women, I’m certain! Until then, everybody stay safe, have a great week, and live life as if there were no tomorrow!

Bonsoir et au revoir,

Myles Shaffer
