Katsuni

(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Katsuni Talks Directing, Lingerie, Accolades – XBIZ TV on Friday debuted an exclusive new video interview with award-winning performer Katsuni.

The French-Vietnamese actress, who is one of the most decorated stars in porn history, discussed how she got her big break in adult and what her mindset was at the beginning.

"For me it was like a big joke, I was too shy with not a lot of experience," Katsuni recalled, revealing that she was taking courses to become a French teacher when she did her first nude photo shoot. "I said ok, it’s like a game, it’s fun."

"I really didn’t want to become famous and have a career. I just wanted to keep doing scenes and studying to have a double life. It was very exciting."

Two years later, she dove into porn full force and has gone on to receive numerous accolades, becoming a household name in her native France along the way. She has parlayed her brand into other ventures, such as her signature line of lingerie, Petit Coeur ("Little Heart" in French), and her recent directorial debut for French powerhouse Video Marc Dorcel.

Her Petit Coeur collection will make its US Debut this year following successful rollouts in France, Germany, Australia and Italy.

"2012 is a very important year for me," Katsuni said.

In January, she won the XBIZ Award for Crossover Star of the Year on the heels of capturing the Foreign Performer of the Year honor at the 2011 XBIZ Awards.
