Ryder Skye

(LOS ANGELES, CA) — After an 18 month sabbatical, Ryder Skye is back with new representation through Adult Talent Managers and ready to shake up the way the adult industry is perceived by the public.

Skye, a fan favorite with her unique European and Asian features, concentrated on her college courses in gender studies and human sexuality to work toward her goal of becoming a marriage/couples counselor specializing in sex therapy during her absence. With her few moments of spare time, Skye volunteered with the Union Rescue Mission serving meals to the homeless in downtown LA

“I needed the time off to get some classes out of the way,” Skye said. “While I had the time to myself, I realized that I really wanted to help out in my community. I was so focused on work, I found myself losing sight of the larger issues in society and working with the homeless reminded me there are people who need a helping hand.”

Skye plans to continue her philanthropic efforts during her new tenure in the adult industry.

“I have some ideas as to the charities I want to contribute to and causes I want to bring attention to, but I’ll be honest – I’m still amazed how so many organizations are hung up about the fact that the money will be coming from the X-rated industry,” she added. “However, I’m committed to continuing my work with non-profit groups and help elevate the way people outside of the industry perceives us.”
