“Sexy, exciting and always provocative!” Words that are constantly uttered when talking about the Urban X Awards. Taking place on Saturday, July 21, 2012, will be the 5th Annual Urban X Awards and Dinner Gala at the Odyssey in Granada Hills, CA.
Coming together again to host this years show is the “Black Barbie of Porn” Nyomi Banxxx and AVN Award winning director, Alexander Devoe. Attendees to previous years awards shows includes the likes of adult films stars: Priya Rai, Lexington Steele, Pinky, Roxy Reynolds, Sara jay, Phoenix Marie, Lisa Ann, Cherokee D’Ass, Olivia O’Lovely, Sean Michaels, Kristina Rose, Mr. Marcus, Super Star XXX, Jada Fire, Jack Napier, Misty Stone, Julia Ann, TS Madison, Asa Akira and many more.
Urban X Awards was founded in 2008 by Giana Taylor. Her vision was to bring to the adult industry’s attention that interracial and ethnic adult film was not a niche to set to the side, but a market that widely contributed to the lure of adult entertainment; therefore, it should be celebrated and awarded as such. After the success of the 1st Urban X Awards Show (then known as the Urban Spice Awards), every awards show since has made critic acclaim and deemed yearly one of the most anticipated awards shows to hit the adult entertainment world. And this years upscale Awards Show and Gala shall be no exception.
