Bonjour mon amis! Comment ca va? Myles Shaffer here. Here we go again. This time around it was a night of belly laughs and a night of beautiful women plus one well known and somewhat unique feature dancer. Let’s now read on to see what it is that I speak of.
Glory Stories
Friday, January 13 I went to the iO West in Hollywood to observe Glory Stories with April Flores as the guest story teller and to have a lot of great laughs.
I arrived one and a half hours early (Really, I did. I know. For me, that is unbelievable!) Since I had nothing better to do, I immediately entered the theater area and had a lot more fun and laughs than I had planned on.
The first show I saw was performed by a group known as, “Old Milwaukee.” The group consisted of Peter Alberts, Brian Allman, Tom Clark, Eric Price, Kurt Scholler and Dave Theune.
Next up was, “Orpheus Roy,” which consisted of Michael Anastasia, Marshall Givens, James Mastraieni, Mike McLendon and Brandon J. Sornberger.
This was followed by, “Old Milwaukee,” and, “Orpheus Roy,” all performing together.
Opening for, “Glory Stories,” was a group known as, “Lusty Horde.” The cast of, “Lusty Horde,” consisted of Brandon Barrick, Tim Jennings, Dave Park and Kevin McShane.
Last but certainly not least, “Glory Stories,” with April Flores triumphantly returning as the guest story teller, performed.
The cast of, “Glory Stories,” for this evening consisted of Amanda Barnes, Brandon Barrick, Sean Cowhig, Neil Garguilo, Patrick Ian Moore, Dave Park, Neil Ruddy, Zabeth Russell, Rebecca Stevens and the so beautiful as ever Canon Wing.
Adult film starlet Sasha Knox and the legendary adult film superstar Nina Hartley were in the audience for the, “Lusty Horde,” and, “Glory Stories,” performances.
While I did get a chance to say hello and get a hug from Nina Hartley, Sasha Knox had disappeared before I could get a chance to introduce myself to her.
All in all, it was a great and fun evening. And all of the comedians were so funny as anybody in the entertainment world.
“Glory Stories,” performs ever two weeks, on Fridays.
I highly recommend that anybody who can should go see, “Glory Stories.” They always have somebody from the adult entertainment industry as their guest story teller, and they are forever funny!
I’ve never known of the cover charge being more than five dollars, and there is no drink minimum to buy. Also, as a general rule, a person can go early and sit in on all of the different performances. At least I was allowed to do so the last two times I’ve attended.
Bridget “The Midget” Powerz
Saturday, January 14, it was out of the house and down to the Library, formerly the Deja Vu Ultra Lounge, formerly Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club, formerly (Who can remember?), in Westminster to spend some time with Bridget “The Midget” Powerz and to observe both of her shows.
For her first time on stage, Bridget did her, “Burlesque Show.” Her costume was an all black affair. She wore a lace-like top, a leather corset and a pair of briefs-style shorts that were literally covered with large black sequins. Once she had removed her top, she revealed a string bikini bra that was decorated with small silver sequins. Beneath her shorts, she wore a pair of bikini panties, and under the panties, she wore a thong. Bridget wore a pair of leg warmers on her legs (Where else would she wear them?) and a pair of high-heeled shoes.
Bridget’s music for this show was, “Welcome to Burlesque,” by Cher, “Show Me How you Burlesque,” by Christina Aguilera, “Make Over,” by Christina Aguilera, and, “Dirty,” also by Christina Aguilera. (The first two songs are from the soundtrack of the movie, “Burlesque,” starring Cher and Christina Aguilera.)
Bridget’s final show was a tribute to Madonna. During this show, She wore a white lace bridal veil on her head. She also wore a white shoulder-less dress. The dress was decorated with silver sequins that formed a design on each breast cup, a half-inch wide horizontal band of silver sequins just beneath her breasts, and a half-inch wide strip of white lace with a scattering of little silver sequins attached to the hem. Under her dress, Bridget wore a lacy slip-like piece that had narrow shoulder straps. It was decorated with a few black ribbons and had a two inch wide ruffled hem. Under the slip, Bridget wore a white bikini bra and a pair of black bikini panties that were once again literally covered with large black sequins. Beneath the panties, she wore a black thong. To finish out the costume, Bridget wore the same black leg warmers and black high-heeled shoes.
This show was performed to, “Like a Virgin,” by Madonna, “Express Yourself,” again by Madonna, “Lovefool,” by the Cardigans, and, “Erotica,” also by Madonna.
Bridget’s interaction with the tip rail customers was very good during both of her shows.
I have always found Bridget to be a smart, nice, very friendly, and fun person to be around. She also thoroughly enjoys meeting and chatting with her fans.
Bridget is a rather sexy-looking little person who usually sports dark brown hair, and she also has brown eyes. Per Wikipedia, take it or leave it, Bridget is three feet nine inches tall and her measurements are 28A-22-32.
I do recommend that anybody who gets an opportunity to do so should take full advantage of said opportunity and go to a club to see Bridget perform and to meet her in person.
I don’t believe Bridget has an official website any longer, but plenty of photos and video clips of her can be found with an Internet search.
The Library Gentlemen’s Club
The Library has put new signs on the front of the building, painted the ceiling black, installed a few large screen televisions on the walls, and has remodeled the former, “VIP Booths,” into, “VIP Rooms.” Other than that, the club is relatively unchanged. (not that it really needed any changes to begin with.)
The Library will be hosting a comedy show Monday night, January 23. I’m thinking that might be worth a look, especially since I’m beginning to get into a habit of going to the iO West Improv Theater a couple of times a month.
And that’s a wrap people. Next up will be the Monday night Karaoke XXX, in Las Vegas, hosted by Tara Lynn Foxx and Lizz Tayler as well as all four days of the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo. This will all be happening from January 16 through January 21. So we should all meet back here the next time to read all about a one of a kind week!
