(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Zero Tolerance Entertainment and its associated companies have been nominated for forty-three AVN Awards in a broad range of categories including Best Comedy, Best Parody, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress. Zero Tolerance Toys has been nominated for Best Overall Sex Toy Line. The 2012 AVN Awards Show takes place Saturday, January 21, 2012, at the Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
The Official Silence of the Lambs Parody is nominated for Best Parody – Comedy, Best Screenplay, and Best Art Direction, with Gary Orona also gaining nods for Best Director and Best Cinematography. Contending for Best Parody – Drama are the Official Basic Instinct Parody and the Official Psycho Parody, the latter also up for Best Art Direction, Best Editing, Best Make-up and Best Screenplay. Mike Quasar’s script for the Official Vagina Monologues is also nominated for Best Screenplay, and he has been tapped for Best Director for this feature as well as being considered for Best Director – Body of Work.
Miles Long will be competing for Best Director – Non-feature for Nylons 8, a Third Degree release, while Stripper Diaries 2 and Stripper Grams are both going to compete for Best Comedy. ZT’s Downtown Girls 3 has been recognized for Best All-Sex release, Mixed Format.

Two Best Actor nominations for Zero Tolerance this year include Ben English for his breakthrough performance in the Official Silence of the Lambs Parody and Ryan McLane for his remarkable turn in the Official Psycho Parody. In the Best Actress category, Kagney Linn Karter has been given the nod for her work in the Official Silence of the Lambs Parody which is also nominated for Most Outrageous Sex Scene. Supporting Actor and Supporting Actress nods go to Mark Wood for the Official Silence of the Lambs Parody and Sarah Vandella for the Official Psycho Parody.
All About Kagney Linn Karter is nominated for Best All Girl Group Scene for the hot action between Karter, Sarah Vandella & Marie Luv, Best Anal Sex Scene starring Karter and Manuel Ferrara, Best Three-Way Sex Scene (G/B/B) with Karter, Ramon Nomar and Anthony Rosano and Best Vignette release. Also nominated for Best All Girl Group Scene is Girlfriends 3 with Alexis Texas, Brooklyn Lee, Chanel Preston & Madelyn Marie, a Third Degree film which is also nominated for Best All-Girl release.
Assets will compete for Best Big Butt release while Best Internal release could go to Internal Cumbustion 16 and Best Foot/Leg fetish release will have friendly competition between Nylons 8 and Young Thighs in Knee Highs, both Third Degree Films. A Best DVD Extras nod goes to the Official Psycho Parody, which also snatched up a nom for Best Packaging.
Best MILF release nominations go to Say Hi to Your Mother for Me and the Cougar Club 3, while Kittens & Cougars 4 is up for Best Older Woman/Younger Girl release. My First Orgy 2 and My First Gang Bang are nominated for Best Orgy/Gangbang release while a nod for Best Clever Title of the Year goes to Say Hi to Your Mother for Me. Rounding out the nominations is the Official Revenge of the Nerds Parody for Best Original Song.
