(LOS ANGELES, CA) — GRB Entertainment and Executive Producer Bryn Freedman who together produced the acclaimed documentary series, “Intervention,” are partnering again on a transformational new television series, “Double Life” (wt).

Hosted by psychotherapist, Stacy Kaiser, (the Today Show, CNN and MSNBC), “Double Life” will help people who are leading secret lives come clean to those closest to them.

“So many people are suffering because they are living with lies,” said Freedman. “Our goal is to help them find the courage to speak their truth, find real healing and rebuild their fractured lives. Stacy has the skills, the clarity and the compassion to do just that.”

Bryn Freedman

Bryn Freedman has been an Executive Producer at NBC, the Oprah Winfrey Network, a&E, History, and Discovery, to name a few. Ms. Freedman has numerous accolades for her work as a journalist, producer, investigative reporter, and author. She was the original Executive Producer of the Emmy and Prism Award-winning documentary series Intervention which was also given the Entertainment Industry’s top honor, the President’s Award for the sensitive portrayal of drug and alcohol abuse. Ms Freedman also launched the award winning series Second Look which received a Prism Award for its sensitive portrayal of homelessness. In addition to her work as an Executive Producer of documentary programs, Ms. Freedman was an award winning investigative reporter garnering an Emmy Award, an AP Award, an award from the Society of Professional Journalists and was named Best News Reporter by Philadelphia Magazine. Ms Freedman also served as Deputy Bureau Chief for ABC News in Los Angeles where she oversaw the western news coverage for Good Morning America, World News Tonight and Nightline; and worked closely with Barry Diller, then Chairman and CEO of USA Broadcasting, where she was instrumental in developing a number of news projects including an award winning local newscast which was named “The best news program in South Florida.” Ms. Freedman is the co-author of book in Eddie’s Name, a critically acclaimed nonfiction account of a 1994 murder case in Philadelphia which exposed critical failings of the city’s 911 emergency response system. Ms. Freedman also serves as a board member on for the international human rights anti-slavery organization Free the Slaves and co-chairs the annual Freedom Awards. She lives in Los Angeles and is the mother of three children.
