The YNOT Awards today revealed the first step in its unique industry-powered voting process that ultimately will determine the winners of the inaugural awards. The process is explained in detail on the website www.YNOTawards.com which also launched today.
The YNOT Awards honor the best and brightest in the digital adult industry worldwide. Winners will be announced during a gala celebration Sept. 21 during the European Summit in Prague.
“The winners of this year’s YNOT Awards will be decided in three steps,” explained Connor Young, president of Texas-based parent company YNOT Group LLC. “Our panel of industry jurors will start by helping us choose the most relevant categories for this year’s awards. Once the categories are locked in, we will open the site to nominations in each category. There will be a maximum of five nominees per category, with nominees decided based on juror feedback.”
Young said the last date for jurors to vote on categories will be Aug. 7, and nominations will be accepted beginning Monday, Aug. 8.
“Juror voting ultimately will determine the nominees for each category, but anyone can submit a nominee for consideration,” Young said. “We will release the list of nominees on Aug. 15, at which point the process will be turned over to the whole industry for voting.”
According to Young, industry voting will last one month, giving nominees an opportunity to campaign on their own behalf.
