(LAS VEGAS, NV) — After months of rumor today SAB Promotions officially announced the launch of the Porn Star Road Trip 2011 (pornstarroadtrip.com) which will begin the first of its 8 2-week segments during the upcoming Chicago Exxxotica Expo (exxxoticaexpo.com), scheduled for July 8-10 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.
Summer 2011 will mark the beginning of a new way for Adult Entertainment Industry companies, performers, products and services to reach a wider mainstream audience — the Porn Star Road Trip. Leveraging the power and reach of Social Media, while infusing the intimacy of in person appearances and feature dancing, the Porn Star Road Trip will give unprecedented access to mainstream adult consumers for marketing, branding and sales opportunities. The tour will be conducted over 12 months, starting in July 2011 in 8 “segments” of two weeks each. Each segment will focus on a defined region of the United States and will make between 8 and 12 appearances at nightclubs, gentlemen’s clubs, novelty, video and book stores; as well as interviews and stories in mainstream and adult media print, television, internet and radio outlets.
“This is going to be a well managed and operated tour,” says Cory Biggs CEO of SAB Promotions. “There have been other aborted attempts at this in the past, but we’ve put together a well thought out and funded plan to make this a reality. The road trip is endorsed by the Naughty Tweet Network, including anchor site PornStarTweet.com, which through Social Media tools like Twitter and Facebook reaches more than 150,000 fans/friends/followers with every message. The Naughty Tweet Network will provide a platform for the Porn Stars as well as the tour to promote the road trip as well as post daily blogs, photos and videos.
