Help Europe DiChan

This is the “A Helping Hand for Europe DiChan Fundraiser”. We are asking that all of her fans and friends over the years to please donate.

It’s unfortunate that when someone you love and care about has no where to turn to for affordable insurance. What’s even sadder is that in this great country if you need an operation, without healthcare insurance, it can be a financial disaster at best. I think we all have known – at one time or another – someone that is facing the same dilemma.

My friend Europe DiChan is facing this very dilemma right now. I’ve known Europe for quite some time now and we are close like sisters. We’ve cried together, laughed together, yelled at each other and we borrow each other’s clothes. I know if I ever needed a place to stay, I’ve got one and she know’s she’s got one too! She’s more than just a dear friend. That is why I’m here pouring out Our souls to you.

If you don’t know Europe – or know her very well – I’d like to tell you a little more about her. I’ve always known my friend to be independent and I’ve never known her to rely on anyone financially or ask for their help, even though she has always been there for her for friends and loved ones financially. Underneath that tough exterior is a woman that would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. She’s not in this mess because she’s been irresponsible. She’s just been put through some things that have left her at a financial disadvantage.

Now she’s found that she has a large tumor along with several small ones near her stomach the doctor wants all of these removed and biopsied immediately because it’s not quite determined yet whether all of them are benign or not – that is why time is not on our side right now! Not to mention that it is quite painful to function and work everyday with these pressing against her internal organs.

This proud woman – whom I begged to start this fundraiser in her name – is worried and scared about what may happen if these tumors aren’t removed soon. She’s still working to pay the bills but her dreams of retirement and re-education have been back burnered.

So, I’m just going to come out and say it – Can you please help her? Her friends are doing all they can but we need more help than we can provide. We are not asking for money to help her financially while she’s recuperating, mind you. We all have that under control. We just need the money to get this procedure done. It will pay for the labs, meds, surgeon and the hospital room.

Europe will be hospitalized for anywhere from 4 days to a week. So, I’m asking all her friends and fans worldwide to help this cause. She’s given so much to us over the years with her magazine, video and Feature Dancer appearances. Whatever you can give is most appreciated. If everyone can give a little, it sure adds up to a lot!

Hopefully we can all pull together through this and help Europe get back to living a normal life.
