(LOS ANGELES, CA) — “Batman XXX: A Porn Parody,” the top selling adult movie of 2010, is now available on Blu-ray. The high-def version of the multiple award-winning spoof has been shipped to stores across the country and will be also sold through Vivid Entertainment starting today, March 1.
“The fans have been asking for this, and I have to say the picture quality is absolutely amazing in Blu-ray,” says Axel Braun, who wrote, produced, and directed the movie that won seven AVN Awards last month, including Best Parody, Best Renting and Selling Title of the Year, Best Screenplay, Best DVD Menus, Best Overall Marketing Campaign, Best Supporting Actor (Evan Stone, for his terrific turn as the Riddler), and Best Supporting Actress (Lexi Belle for her sexy portrayal of Batgirl). Braun, who during the ceremony was inducted in the AVN Hall of Fame, also took home trophies for Director of the Year-Body of Work, while his namesake studio Axel Braun Productions was named Best New Production Company.
“Batman XXX: A Porn Parody” also took the Best Parody honors in October at the18th Annual NightMoves Awards Show Weekend and was declared the favorite movie in the parody category at the Fifth Annual F.a.M.E. (Fans of Adult Media & Entertainment) Awards on July 10 during the Exxxotica Los Angeles Expo.
“The Blu-ray rendering makes a great work even better,” said Steven Hirsch, founder/co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment, “The high-def treatment is magnificent for a perfectionist like Axel and it is likely to create a new spike in sales for the video.”
