(ST PETE, FL) — World renowned pole dancing champion Nakita Kash has wowed audiences around the United States and was a contestant on NBC’s America’s Got Talent. This 30 time title holder is now planning her next big competition, one to find her successor. Nakita Kash is proud to announce Miss Pole Champ USA, with regional competitions beginning this week on the East Coast, continuing throughout February into March before advancing to the National Finals.
The first regional was held in Massachusetts, and hot newcomer Tara Dega was crowned the regional winner and moves on to the next round. Dega, a mechanic during the day, is new to the feature dance circuit, but looks on the road to being the next “It” girl. “She’s the total package: beautiful, cute, and outstanding on the pole!” Kash gushes.
At Christine’s Cabaret in Philadelphia, Miss PoleChamp East USA was crowned. Niomi Sho from Wilmington, De came out victorious. “Niomi is a true powerhouse on the pole. Wow, what a competitor!” Kash exclaims. In the North, Gara from Rockford, IL was crowned Miss PoleChamp North USA. “She can spin like no one I have ever seen before!”
“I have wanted to do something like this for a long time. In between gigs I went to many competitions over the last few years as a judge, assistant and/or coordinator.” Nakita explains, “I had competed so many times that I already knew what worked and didn’t work on the competitors end, but I wanted to get my hands dirty behind the scenes to insure that I was making the right decisions in my competition process. With those experiences I put together the Miss Pole Champ USA™ format.” Fans, clubs and media are encouraged to watch the Miss PoleChamp USA™ video now on YouTube www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZU2sePSuCY.
Miss PoleChamp continues with regional competitions, leading up to the National competition to be held in March in Tampa, Florida. With the regional breakdown being locked to the North, South, East, West, Midwest, Northwest, Southeast and Southwest, dancers eager to compete shouldn’t have to travel too far to do so. Next up for Miss PoleChamp is Tucson, AZ tonight at Tens Showclub located at 5120 East Speedway. On Saturday, February 19, Miss PoleChamp heads to San Francisco for the West regional to be held at the legendary Crazy Horse located at 980 Market Street.
The regional winners will receive a cash prize, a trip to the nationals, and a bevy of goodies, besides the expected regional title. “Everyone involved has something to bring to the table that will benefit the winners. I am thinking from a pole dancers perspective every step of the way especially when putting together the rules and scoring methods. I am even hand selecting each judging panel!” the national winner will also participate in a national feature dancing tour booked exclusively by a-List Features and Continental Feature Agency.
