The 2011 Dallas Burlesque Festival will take place on the Main Stage at the House of Blues in Dallas on Friday and Saturday, January 21-22.
Elisa is the creator of the Dallas Burlesque Festival and the Ruby Revue, as well as the owner of Dallas’ first Burlesque Dance Studio, the Ruby Room. For the Second Dallas Burlesque Festival, Elisa asked Ginger Valentine and Black Mariah to help produce the show with her. The three ladies have many years of dance training and very experienced in performance shows.
The Burlesque Festival also includes a pin up photo shoot with models, hairstylists, make up artists and photographers strutting their stuff in a fun filled atmosphere shot in front of a live audience. Directed and cast by Melissa Meaow, the live pin up shoot is always an exciting and special part of the Dallas Burlesque Festival.
