For the last year, two-time AVN Award winning writer George Kaplan (Fozzi), with over 400 adult movie scripts to his credit, has been waiting out the determination of a disability claim. Last Friday (December 2) he learned his claim was rejected and now finds himself trying to get back into the work force.
Still able to write; he was writing movie and television parodies for director Jim Enright, and other top directors, back in the ’90s before they became “trendy.” (See his send-up of Young Frankenstein: “Hung Wankerstein” he and Enright did for Sin City.) He still has feature scripts available and is ready, willing and able to tackle new projects from features to vignettes to webisodes. (He and Enright also have a webisode parody of Comedy Central’s Krod Mandoon entitled “Krotch ManGoo” raring to go.)
He has also been working as a Production Manager, again primarily working with director Enright; initially for Club Jenna and Playboy and beyond. Their most recent shoot was with Amy Fisher.
During his career he has provided scripts for every major Adult Production Company and Distributor as well as every major director in the 1990s winning his AVN Awards for collaborating with director Michael Raven (“Watchers” and “Beautiful” respectively) and worked with Nic Andrews on the original release “Dark Angels.”
He also worked for a year writing scripts for Sean Michaels as well as a monthly press release for his company.
He is also currently seeking either a full or part time in-office position or a work-at-home situation as well as a return to writing and production managing.
He’s a good and quick writer, well organized, and reliable. Due to a chronic back problem he is moderately limited physically but able to work. You can reach him via his Email at FoziWriter2008@Gmail.com or 818-813-7410.
