First we will go to the East Coast’s answer to Porn Valley. Miami, Florida is equally hot, and that’s not just referring to the climate. In fact, Taryn it Up Entertainment leads a bunch of Phoenix-based adult-entertainment businesses that, like it or not, just might make the Valley of the Sun the next porn capital.
Arizona has become like the small mecca, sort of like a ”Little Porn Valley”. The San Fernando Valley is definitely still the capital of porn, but it feels like Phoenix is climbing up the ladder so to speak, especially with companies on the Web. There are continually more and more Web companies popping up in the Phoenix area. Companies like Taryn Thomas’s Taryn it up Entertainment, and Buzz Aziani, the owner of Phoenix-based adult site Aziani.com are building a Web presence in the Phoenix area. Web cam studios are also sprouting up in the area as well.
Even with companies that do not currently do business out of Phoenix, there are various companies that travel to Phoenix to produce their projects. The Phoenix area has many vacation rental homes, at decent pricing, and the Metro area of Phoenix has many hotels. Adult Companies find it cheaper to shoot, including much cheaper rates to pay talent rather than paying the going rate for talent to film porn in the L.a. Valley, and different scenery to choose from is a benefit as well.
With the economy struggling, and the price of living in the San Fernando Valley on the high end, places Like Phoenix are looking better and better all the time for adult production companies to relocate.
