Alexander DeVoe

(LOS ANGELES, CA) — One of the most prolific and celebrated directors in the industry, Alexander DeVoe has much to be thankful for this holiday season as he looks back on a very successful and productive year.

DeVoe received a record 18 nominations for AVN’s 2010 AVN Awards, including Best Director Ethnic Video, Best Ethnic Themed release Black, Best Ethnic Themed release Latin, Best Ethnic Themed Series Black, Best Ethnic Themed Series Latin, Best Interracial release, Best Interracial Series, Best New Series, and Best Oral Themed Series . The ceremony will be held at the Pearl Theater in the Palm Hotel and Casino, in Las Vegas on January 9th, 2010.

”I’m looking forward to the awards in January, and again I wanted to thank everyone at AVN, and all of those who voted for the nominations. I also wanted to thank everyone I worked with this year. 2009 was a good year, but 2010 is going to be a big year, and again we’ll be bringing Classic American hardcore to the public,” stated DeVoe.

His production company Alexander DeVoe Productions gets the chance to take a breath, as they celebrate the release of ”Phat Ass White Booty 6.”

DeVoe has wrapped on shooting for his most anticipated sequel in recent memory: ”Rico the Destroyer 2.” The bestselling AVN-nominated interracial classic featured Rico, an all-star cast, and the trials and tribulations of his 13-inch penis. The sequel will feature an all star cast of beautiful and sexy women. DeVoe is also planning on a new series starring Prince Yahshua in 2010.

DeVoe, who started out as a performer in 1999, began directing in 2001 and has since directed over 200 titles.

In 2008, DeVoe was nominated for an AVN Award for ”Director of the Year” and won Best Director (Body of Work) at the 2008 Urban X Awards. DeVoe also won two AVN Awards for ”Best Ethnic-Themed release” and ”Best Ethnic-Themed Series”.

DeVoe is also currently working on a reality program for television, and filming another new title next week as well.
