The site covers information ranging from what the porn star hopeful needs and what it takes, to how to get started, contacts, and rates one can expect starting out as well as standard rates for professionals.

The site also provides tips and suggestions on how to stay safe and add longevity to your career. ”Companies and individuals that are listed or mentioned on the site are ones that my friends and I have worked with and can personally recommend”, states Victoria Givens, owner of Treasure Coast Media, and one of the contributors to the site.
HowToBeAPornstar.info also has a contact page for those needing verification of photographers, directors, and adult job ads. ”I think all of us can remember the scams and wolves lurking on the job boards and on the Internet when we first started”, states another porn star contributor to the site. ”The question I get asked most is, ‘how can I get into the business’.”
That information is now on-line and is free. Several segments of the adult entertainment Industry are covered on the site from dancing, web cam companies, agents, producers and more. Links are provided for the newcomer to stay safe both on the job and on the Internet.
