(VAN NUYS, CA) — Capping off a banner year for adult entertainment studio Pink Visual, the company has been nominated for 16 AVN awards, including best series nominations in seven different content categories.

Judging by the list of nominations, Pink Visual was most successful in 2009 with its group sex productions; the studio has three different lines nominated for the Best Orgy/Gang Bang Series award (”Gang Bang Junkies,” ”Gangbang Squad” and ”Orgy Sex Parties”), as well as Best Orgy/Gang Bang release nominations for ”Gangbang Squad 15” and ”Orgy Sex Parties 5.”
”I guess you could say there’s been an ‘orgy’ of nominations for us in the group sex categories this year,” Kysar quipped. ”With three series nominated for the Best Orgy/Gang Bang category, I wouldn’t be too surprised to see that trophy displayed in our offices come January.”
In addition to the best series and best release nominations, director Cruel Raul received a Best Director, Foreign Non-Feature nomination for his work on the ”Gangbang Junkies” series for Pink Visual, and the company received recognition for best packaging innovation for its ”green porn” release ”Plant Your Wood,” as well as recognition for its online marketing success.
