Christy Banks, though not available for bookings yet, is planning her career in adult entertainment thoughtfully. Ever since Christy was 16 she’s wanted to be a porn starlet and merchandiser like Jenna Jameson, and run her own life and career. Now that she is 18 she is pursuing her goal. She writes to us, ”My name is Christy Banks. I am a web cam model for Flirt4Free.com where I met my best friend in the adult world, Tara Lynn Foxx, who is my idol and mentor in the business. I am going on 3 months working for Flirt4free and have an ever-growing fan base there. I met Tara through someone at work who told me if I wanted to get into porn she would help me. Then I got her MySpace and went from there and we have been buds for a month. We are co-workers – if you can even call it work, I sure don’t!”
But Christy isn’t the typical girl who wants to come in to the Industry. She adds, ”I want to make a point to use my porn career as leverage to help girls too. With human sex trafficking overseas and in the US I want to raise awareness of how many girls are being raped and sold as sex objects without the choice like I have. That is very wrong and no woman should ever have sex without her permission in my opinion.”
”I am currently not doing movies because I am in college and plan on finishing my degree before doing any stuff that will have me traveling. While I’m in school I only have a MySpace page for now… I am hopefully going to get my own website where I will write direct and star in my own productions in the future once I get some money saved up from my starter films.”
”I do have a direction I am going with this. I want to do porn while I am crazy, wild, and young, but do want to quit one day and get married and have a family… But that all depends when and if I find Mr. Right – and as of right now, I’m tired of boys so I’m happy being single.”
Concerned for her relationship to her family I ask how her parents feel about her career choice? Are they supportive?
”My father kind of knew I would do this considering as a kid I spoke of wanting to join a nudist colony before I discovered porn because I loved my naked form and never struggled as a child with anything wrong with my body. I’m just the way God made me and that’s perfect, and I would often wear just a bikini around my home as a teen to rebel against wearing clothes. I look at porn as just people being open with their sexuality and having sex with someone watching. People do that in real life all the time at swinger parties and public sex so what’s so bad about it?”
