About the Woodhull Freedom Foundation:

The Woodhull Freedom Foundation, a Washington D.C. based 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, fights for freedom of sexual expression for consenting adults. The organization is named for 19th century activist Victoria Woodhull. Woodhull was a progressive and outspoken nineteenth-century Suffragette who introduced sex- positive values to America during the repressive Victorian era. The WFF continues to uphold the ideals of Victoria Woodhull, working to produce national debate around sex and sexuality, bringing public attitudes and private behaviors closer together, and ultimately fighting to remove the stigmas surrounding expressions of gender and sexuality. The Woodhull Freedom Foundation of Los Angeles is the most recent member organization of the WFF network.
