(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Daisy Marie won ”Favorite Underrated Star” at the recent FAME Awards, held Saturday night at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The popular annual awards are decided by fans who vote online. The ceremony was hosted by adult film star Stormy Daniels.
Daisy who recently underwent root canal work almost didn’t make it to the ceremony, but in true show business fashion, the show must go on, and Daisy Marie, mobbed by fans as she hurried to the ceremony located inside Erotica LA, arrived just as the program was starting.
”I want to thank everyone at the FAME Awards, all my fans who voted for me, and James and Galaxy Publicity” stated Daisy Marie. ”I was shocked when they called my name, I didn’t prepare a speech or anything, but I am very grateful, and I love this award, and I love my fans” added Daisy Marie.
”And yes, I am the girl the girl that invented the Latin Twist” giggled Daisy Marie. Referring to a statement she made on stage when accepting her award.
Daisy is starting work on her 2010 calendar this month. ”It’s going to be classy and sexy, and it’s the first time I’m doing a calendar, but it’s going to be something everyone will definitely like to have” said Daisy Marie.
Daisy Marie is also working on updating her website with new content in the next few months, and pursuing mainstream work as well. Daisy Marie was a co-star in the Cinemax series; ”Co Ed Confidential” last year, which stars the lovely Michelle Maylene.
